I've never commented on a video, but now the time has come! Vasilije Srbine, bre ;)! This video is a masterpiece from the intro to the credits! I feel honored and touched at the same time. I've watched it countless times but I just can't get enough of it! The selection of melodies, dances, illustrations and animations is really very impressive! Always the perfect picture at the right moment! The credits even show a wolf, the coat of arms of Serbia, an accordion, a trumpet, the Miroslav Gospel, the Gračanica Monastery, the Church of Saint Sava, icons and frescoes - Vasílis carried out his work particularly thoroughly and with great attention to detail! He just knows everything about the Serbian soul ;)! It would have been impressive if this video had been made by a Serb, but that a foreigner put so much effort into it is just incredible. I wrote an email to the National Ensemble of Folk Dances and Songs of Serbia KOLO - I hope they and Ensemble VENAC will pay attention to your video because you have done them a great service! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this kind gesture! Balkan, Balkan, Balkan, ehi Balkaneros, vamos ;)!

Sasvim je ormalno je da su igre koje poticu iz krajeva koji su geografski blizu imaju mnogo slicnosti u muzickom i koreografskom smislu, bez obzira na to koji narod ili nacija ih igra. Takodje je normalno da su i nosnje iz tih podrucja veoma slicne. Ovo je za ocekivati posebno iz razloga sto su se kroz istoriju granice mijenjale i narodi sa tih podrucja mijesali i prihvatali tradiciju i kulturu jedni od drugih.
Svaka cast. Takav talenat protkan tolilim znanjem folklorne bastine svih naroda Balkana, zaista je za veliko postovanje. Veliki pozdrav od bivse folklorasice. ❤
Serbia have the best folk dances in Europe for my taste, bc they have a lot of dances and a lot of outfits and they still manage to know,have all of them, even that they are spread to whole Balkan.

This takes me back to memories as a youngster being in Serbian Kolo and going to the tri-state all over for performances (zabavas). I live in Chicago and this was a wonderful trip down memory lane. I don’t even know some of these but I’d love to learn. Saw the video dances from different Balkan countries and it amazes me how similar our tones in music are and dance steps are. Superb video.
