@@tracyhuff494 this message was before the coronavirus blew up, I didn't get to sail and got my refund back but it took over 3 months, now I'm sure I'll have to cancel my cruise in February 2021
I have a deluxe ocean view and this is the upgrade they were offering me for an extra $42. I will stick with my deluxe ocean view. Thank you for sharing it.
Personally I'd take the cove balcony, but deluxe ocean view does have 2 bathrooms and a bathtub in one. Happy my video helped you make the decision that's best for you

As H3 said, Andrew, Carnival ships (and I think most cruise lines) have a formal night or Elegant Night. For those, YES, you are supposed to dress up and have fun! 🎉 There are more photographers around that night than others. Alas, it's your vacation, and you can do whatever pleases YOU. 😊

Hi there! We are booked on the Vista in room 2270 and think they may be similar. Were you able to get the light on your balcony turned off? And did you like this cabin?
The cove balconies became my favorite balcony so far. I absolutely love them. Now with the light we couldn't get that turned off. The very front cove balconies have the light for the ladder should they need to come down and seal the windows up. The rest of the cove balconies shouldn't have that issue. Now 2270 on the Vista is going to have the same ladder and light.

Really there wasn't really any. We were close to the stairs but didn't hear foot traffic. For those that get sea sick easy lower levels don't move as much as the higher levels.
Sorry for late reply. RUclips hasn't been letting me know about comments. Light for that cabin sadly never turns off as it can't be. If you haven't sailed yet I can promise other cabins it won't be an issue. It's only the very first cove cabin as the ladder is there.

I saw your video of getting splashed. It was so funny! I am currently booked on deck 9 for the May 23rd sailing in a forward balcony cabin. I was originally thinking that would be a great area because being forward I would have cabins above and below rather than the pool or restaurants. I'm really considering a cove balcony now since so many people like them, but I can't decide! Lol. What would you choose?
power strips are allowed as long as they are non surge protected. If they are surge protected they will be confiscated. Water temperature was great once we got down to ports like Cabo and Puerto Vallarta where it is much hotter outside. That is if you're talking about the water temperature of the pools and slides

Well the ship is brand new. Lol I was lucky enough to be on her first 2 sailings. Great cabin and private balcony

Me too. I’m getting married on this ship December 2021! So far seven of us have cove balconies right next to each other!!! Cannot wait!

Yes. They collided while under Port pilot control and with strong gusts and swells. Carnival Glory has a big band aid basically on her Aft now

I am in this cabin in June. Did they resolve the light issue on the balcony?
This is permanent in this cabin as it is a safety light for if it is needed. So Iit's not on a switch.
At least that's what I was told

Directly above is was another room. All the noise I heard was the waves created by the ship.
I have a Cove balcony on Panorama in November.
I'll be back on Carnival Panorama December and in a cove balcony as well. They are the best balconies on the ship

This room specifically. No. Only cove balconies that are for 4 passengers have the pull down.

@@Myislandtravel personally I love the cove balcony. It's cheaper and so much closer to the water and sounds like you're sleeping on a beach all night

If you're sitting up its slightly obstructed as it's not the glass.
We're sailing on the Panorama in Feb 2022 & do you need to put card in holder in every staterooms?
Yes you need to put a card of some sort in to turn lights on and enable plugs

W Kastner they don’t care but it will short the power and it takes then 2 days to fix

Too small
It's the same size as most cabins. Only bigger cabins are ADA cabins and suites
