- Carnival Panorama Inside Stateroom Lido Deck Room Tour - No Balcony But Still A Great Room!
We're used to having a balcony, or at least a window, when we cruise, but this time, we went with an inside cabin on Deck 10 aboard the Carnival Panorama. We were in room 10284, which was very close to the main elevators and the large open area of the Lido Deck. We found that we liked a lot of things about this room during our 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise! The location was great for quick access to the Marketplace buffet, the Lido deck swimming pool, the Seaside Theater, and any deck parties that were going on. Our room was also very quiet at night and very dark, which made for great sleeping! We also saved quite a bit of money by not having a balcony, so all-in-all, it was a great room. We hope this video helps someone to decide if an inside cabin is right for them. Thanks for watching!

Loved being on the lido deck !!!
It was very fun, and close to a lot of activities and food!
So I think and this is just My thinking is that # 1: The reason they don't put sockets on the night stands is because people put there drinks on the night stand at night while watching TV and then leave it there when they go to sleep so at night in the dark getting up to use the head or reaching for your phone and you knock over your beverage it'll go into the receptacle and it'll blow out the circuit and probably could cause a fire. #2: if you leave your drink there on the night stand and leave your room and the ship encounters heavy seas and your drink falls over and it would again into the receptacle it goes. So if you have say 1,000 people out of 4,000 even 500 drinks tipping over into that plug could be bad news. Again just my thought...great video thank you.
So i think the reason they dont put phone plugs on night stands is because if you leave your drink there and in the middle of the night you knock it over it would blow out that receptacle and could cause a fire. If you leave it there and leave the room and the ship hits rough seas it'll tip over and again blow out the charger so if a bunch of people left drinks their I'd imagine all these drinks tipping over could be pretty bad. Just my thoughts.

That thing above the sink is not a smoke detector its a receptacle for a razor its only a 2 plug receptacle for light loads not for heavy duty 3 prong electronics..
