- WNBA superstar Sue Bird doesn’t always embody the personality of what people expect from a leader. When she was 14, Sue’s AAU coach wrote her a letter and issued a challenge: allow your level of confidence to match your level of talent.
At UNINTERRUPTED’s #DayOnes event, presented by Courvoisier, Sue shared how she learned to step out of her comfort zone and embrace her leadership role as the point guard on the United States’ Olympic basketball team.

I have been a fan of Sue's since watching her in the UConn vs ND Championship game when she lost the ball and then came back to score and win the game, all in under a minute. Amazing. I also like the private Sue.
That game was one of the greatest to be ever played the emotions in that game, two buzzer beaters by Birdy, half time and then at the end and look what it started the great rivalry b/w UCONN and ND
