    My 2nd channel - LITTLE CABIN IN THE YUKON
    When I'm not traveling in an RV or at home working on an RV, I'm usually at our remote, off grid log cabin in the Yukon. My husband and I have had this cabin for over 20 years and love it. If you'd like a look into that part of my life, I have a channel showing how we live there, lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife. So much of what I learned living off grid at the cabin has come in handy living in an off grid RV! The link is here-

    I’ve been camping in Vermont and New Hampshire in my Toyota Highlander. I’ve gotten many ideas from you❣️ I loved the carvings. So much detail! Thanks for sharing.❤️

    Great video. I got some good ideas to use in my own vehicle. I travel from southern Ontario a couple of times a year, west to Calgary, Alberta to visit the grandkids. I car camp all the way in my little Pontiac Vibe. Lots of room for me and my little dog.

      That’s fantastic, Cathy! I’ve done the same, but not as far. When my family gathers there can be a shortage of beds, so I sleep in my car outside my mom’s house. Works great! I’m glad you were able to get some ideas from the video! Thanks for watching❤️👍

    I spied my sticker on your camping trunk❤❤❤. So cool. Very well organized you are. I just spotted another one of my stickers on the side of the trunk. 😊

      Lol! Yup! They’re there! I’ve saved all the stickers our ‘group’ exchanged until I had something I really liked and wanted to stick them on. It’s quite a but fuller now too, as I collected stickers as I travelled!

    Love that boardwalk and bridge. Bummer it’s all damp out, but looks like a cool place. The faces in the trees are definitely interesting. Your car build is quite sufficient, it seems. Looks like you have everything you feel you will need. We still use a car top carrier when we overland in our h3. They come in very handy. We have one that’s almost like a plastic type material. It seems to do good keeping the water out. That’s some interesting info on the outhouse. Gotta say I’ve never seen a little sign explaining about an outhouse before. I found that a bit amusing. Thanks for sharing your trip.

    • @HoneyandMe
      @HoneyandMe  2 месяца назад +2

      Hey Felix! It was such a pretty park...even in the rain. I think if I were really in need of a cartop carrier I'd get one of the hard shell ones. This one was 'good enough' for getting the extra stuff to the cabin, but I won't ever trust it to keep things dry! I though the outhouse was cool just because it was made from all those plastics! Nice to see something that is actually utilizing all the recycling we do here in Canada. That's one of the big differences we have found between the US and Canada. Recycling doesn't seem to be a big deal there. Maybe it's just the states we have visited, but there is no incentive to recycle bottles and can, let alone our garbage. is it different where you guys are? Thanks for watching!

    • @HappyPlaceCamping
      @HappyPlaceCamping 2 месяца назад +1

      @@HoneyandMe Missouri definitely is not a big recycling state. Maybe in the big cities. But not so much in our little rural towns.

    • @HoneyandMe
      @HoneyandMe  2 месяца назад +2

      @HappyPlaceCamping I think the only state we went through that didn’t have plastic shopping bags was Colorado. In Canada, we’ve pretty much gotten rid of them.

    Wow I have a rav and a promaster. Trying to decide if I should sell one. I didn't think I'd have enough room for cat and me. This is interesting. Thanks

    • @HoneyandMe
      @HoneyandMe  2 месяца назад +1

      Lucky you!! I’d love to get a van one day! It would probably feel HUGE after a car camper, lol! Are you using your promaster to camp in? Gracie (my cat) doesn’t take up much space in the car camper. She’s been traveling since she was a kitten and is used to being on the go.
      Thanks for watching and leaving a comment😁

    I’ve always wanted a Toyota RAV4. I have not got one yet. The one that I really want is the army green adventure I’m currently looking, but I have not located one yet.

      @HoneyandMe  2 месяца назад +1

      I love mine, but I also had hoped for, what in Canada, is the TRD version. It's the more rugged off road Rav4. Perhaps one day, but they do seem to be hard to find. Good luck in your search!

      Good question! I haven't actually measured it, but it's about 4 feet. I'll be doing a video on it pdq. It works really well though and is so simple. Thanks for watching and asking!

    I actually wanna test one out on the inside to see how I fit. I know I work out really well in the Chevy equinox, but I just like the style of the RAV4 the question is do I fit right?

      Do you know anyone with one? Or maybe you could go to a dealership and try one on for size! lol! The salesperson might raise their eyebrows when you ask to lay down in the back, but who cares!
