  • Hurricane Katrina devastated the U.S. Gulf Coast communities five years ago, leaving behind ruins that persist to this day. But at least one of Mother Nature's iconic creations survived intact, and still inspires.

To all of the survivors of Katrina. Keep your heads up. History will remember..You, your courage and your struggle. Long after the insensitive people who are full of hate lay rotting in their graves.

@whatever0481 As an American I have to agree, our military spending is greater than China, Russia, France, and the UK combined. (2009 figures) ... On the the other hand, a lot of us wonder why someone would live in a city that's below sea level.

  • @92bravo

@djshady14 Were you alive in 1900? Show me the tapes, the cities underwater, the photos of people on their roofs, the dead bodies floating in the streets, the power outages and the world wide coverage of the event as it happened in real time.
This is a modern tragedy that we witnessed via the technology of the new millennium. Trying to compare Katrina to Galveston 1900 is like trying to compare Galveston to the great flood during Noah's time. Did you see it happen?

@Bred2Protect I can agree on your points that atheism in itself can be a religion, however atheism in itself and the "science of life" are separate, as atheism only is the belief that there is no god or divine power of any kind. Scientific theory is different.
However, atheism and science do go hand in hand since they basically state that divine intervention does not occur, which is what seems as by far the most logical answer to the stuff we observe. I'm glad you're fighting this troll though!

@Bred2Protect i don't see why anyone can hate jesus for his message, but I can see how he hates jesus' followers, most notably for such as your statement about atheists right there.
