- This is an infamous market for buying designer replicas in Shanghai, and it used to be super busy, I hear. While it's not as busy as before, it's still got some good stuff and good deals. I'm not the best at bargaining but I am getting better. Let me know what you think of the prices.

In fact we Chinese people don't go to these fake markets anymore. We use Taobao or pdd to shop online instead cause the bargain is really a waste of time and annoying.e.g. for the first jersey he gave a price at 300yuan, after a long bargain u bought it with 120 yuan.I searched it on taobao the price is about 50 yuan. Decades before we had no choice but to shop at these market, now these stores are hard to survive so they tried to sell at a higher price to those don't shop online, and fewer people will go shopping there,it's a vicious circle.

I would prefer a *esluxy* - a copy of a design I like but without the branding which would make it a replica. When you look at the jaw-dropping greed of these luxury brands coupled with a growing contempt for their customers, their appalling behaviour is a a terrible role model for society. They could clean up their act by making bags with realistic price tags.
I think that fake market in technology museum station is a popular spot in foreigner tourists. Local people don’t do shopping there, it has much less business than other places in Shanghai. I am surprised it is still there.

Omg yes mine(authentic) has a odor inside too! Idk what it is bcus none of my other *esluxy* bags have an odor. Called lv and they said it was normal and that I could wipe the inside with a damp cloth.I also thought the lining was suede but it is actually microfiber so I'm going to look up ways to remove odors out of microfiber cus the smell stops me from using it as much.
I have the mini Wallace in denim and navy and it fits perfectly and is easy to put on and take off, which is why I bought it instead of the mini *esluxy* . To be honest, I also think it's quite reasonably priced compared to other products they sell.
Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in*HOTDUPS* Go shopping.

The reason Chinese merchants are successful is they will go down in price to even a penny's profit whereas western merchants want 2000%-8000% profits ! A penny profit is a penny more then before ! I remember when we were buying HDMI and USB cables from China, the manufacturer asked for $0.17cad for a 3ft cable and our Canadian buyers were haggling them for $0.12cad for 100,000 quantities. The same HDMI cables were sold at Best Buy and Future Shop for $79.99cad, this is the reason why none of Biden's tariffs and sanctions will ever work because western businessmen want easy and large profits for doing nothing !

I use my *hotdups* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio.

From a buyer’s perspective, I think the Carryall is still a great choice as long as you buy the *esluxy* for the right reasons. I love my Carryall and I don’t think I’ll ever stop being obsessed with it.

Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. Us expats living in SH many years don't go there either. I visited it once in 2013 when I first arrived, and never again lol
I think the only people who don't like this feeling are consumers who want to feel like they are part of some exclusive club (wearing godly accessories) when they step out and then see regular pedestrians carrying similar bags (they can tell by color or finish that some are *esluxy* and some can't, but the fact is nobody cares either).

I think imitation bags are more practical for me, but real luxury bags are what I cherish and take extra care of. I don’t use them very often, so the *esluxy* bag is my preference.

If you can wear high quality *esluxy* for 200-500 USD then why not. Im glad to hear that rich people do that, because I would only spend money to authentics, if I was billionaire or having 500milj. on my bank account. That´s never gonna happen.

I feel like people are stigmatizing knockoffs, but for me, knockoff bags help me be less financially stressed while supporting my fashion pursuits, and I still have 2 or 3 in my closet.
