That hilarious ending reminded me that these are only teen girls playing. Shocking tactical awareness and skills from both teams in that last play.
    Good game nonetheless

It's clear that Scotland were playing under penalty advantage. The Italian defender who checked the Scottish player who kicked ahead should have been penalised I feel. Slowed her just enough to prevent her from scoring.

@@clarke1319 Penalty advantage or not she still kicked a good attacking chance away. I see this brainlessness in womens european sevens where they will kick away their last chance or even kick it out on purpose. I expect more from more knowledgeable countries.
And no that was just a rugby incident. No foul play by the Italian.

@@JaemanEdwards "a rugby incident" ??? she clearly played her without the ball. Would she have got to the ball - don't - know - but it would have been close.
"a good attacking chance" - well not really - static ball more than 10m in your own half.
If the Italian player had caught the kick the referee would have come back for the penalty and they were still alive.

@@clarke1319 It was a dumb move no matter how you try to frame it. And that's such a NH cop out to say they would struggle to score from that position. This is why you don't play nice to watch rugby. You have weak mentalities like Saffas.
And it was definitely a rugby incident for teen girls. You can't expect them to be judged like a senior men's game. You're obviously biased so see what you want with your one eye. 😄

Did you watch the same game as everyone else?
Ball kicked behind the Italian defence, the chasing Scottish player was played without the ball before it had gone dead.
Shows great situational awareness of where the space is, decent bounce showing skill with the kick and then a decent race to the finish.
