Smart Dad you never do a burnout while turning...The only times we did that were with one wheel peel cars that were under powered! 267 Olds Cutlass my buddy had and it could only do that when a little dusty or wet lol... My Uncle is 87 and owns a 70 Cuda 440 6 barrel,bought it new in 1970..He ran high 11's in the 1/4 when the car was 2 weeks old...with so called slicks of the day that were equal to modern minivan radial tires for traction lol...Car has 300,000 miles he put 260,000 by 1982,from 82-86 he refreshed the car,never was a wreck always stock and gorgeous..Rebuilt engine/trans/paint and drivers seat and carpet made it look hot again..My cousin does body work and repainted it in the early 2000's..Car is a show winner and a mover! Yes,my Uncle still takes it out,albeit not the same hot rodder as he was when I was younger!
