    "Maybe I killed my first..."
    *Pauses for a bit*
    "...Elephant. Maybe I killed my first elephant."
    That's Ashen's brain slowly trying to figure out which of the many creatures he killed over the years.
    Most people think it started with the blind bags... it happened much earlier in his life. Much much earlier.

    The pause after "killed my first" is very suspicious...

    Did that magnet toy remind anyone of those old mega bloks action figure things called magwarriors? Man, they were so fucking cool. You could accurately simulate the "tis but a flesh wound" scene with them aswell.

    You're missing a little key for scareglow. Cool thing was the classics castle grayskull had a door that could be opened by the little key. Reason is that he's doomed to forever have access to CG but never get in.

    IIRC, the little tube on Scareglow is designed to fit the Key to Castle Grayskull, which may or may not have come with him. The important thing about the key is that it is scaled to actually FIT into a keyhole on the Classics Grayskull.

    I love how you have a deep appreciation for action figures, I'm a collector myself and I have some very out of package like yours, enter the collector circles most times those are frowned upon. But I can still appreciate them. it's refreshing to know that I'm not the only one.

    no wonder Baron Karva(sp?) looks familiar, its a localization of the Steel Jeeg figure. Jeeg being an old school japanese mecha anime.

      Different head though. But I think that and the paint scheme are the only differences.

    I think it was the same line as the Joker figure, at least the same era, Kenner made a super awesome Aquaman figure that you could squeeze the arms to make his legs kick. It was neato.

    • @xtraman22
      @xtraman22 9 лет назад +1

      Yeah, there was a whole line of Superfriends figures with those actions. Some threw punches, Flash's legs moved really fast, etc. And the reason Joker's coattails came off was because there was a Jokermobile, and you couldn't sit him down in it with the coattails on.

    Baron Karza has kinda the same look as General Bison from Street Fighter . Except the colors of course .
    That doctor Who figurine is very well made you can see every details on it . Proof that toys made back then were made with heart, emotion and a real fanbase behind . Not as today what they care about is the money and offering shitty quality . Not in everything but you need to pay very much to have something decent today .

    Because you mentioned something for this toy line that they made all the figures with the same face,there was actually an action figure line from the early 70s called captain action.Twice bigger than those and reminted allot the original joes that you could change their clothes.The captain could be transformed to almost all the soldiers and heroes,from marvel and dc characters to austronauts as well.I learned about those classic figures from a japanese toy line called bearbricks wich comes to blind boxes i have a captain action bearbrick from series 20 from the horror series.He even managed to transform him self to a bear like weird figure,i guess you can call him the master of disguises in the action figure world.
