I live in Wisconsin. In the winter we keep our heat at 72°F because we prefer to not have to wear layers of clothes in the house. 62°F indoors in winter doesn't feel like 62°F, especially if it's windy.
Its like that everywhere, 62F in winter vs 62F in summer feels completely different, I'm very sure it's subjective in nature but it is what it is Probably has to do with expectations, in Winter you expecting that to be the warmest its going to get, while in summer its the coldest it's expecting to be, for any given day
Sixteen degrees is far too cold for indoor work. Not illegal, to the best of my knowledge, but certainly cruel. Props to OP for circumventing the issue.
I think revenge stories are my favorite. I enjoy the various strategies used to make the target "hang themselves". Plus living vicariously through the OPs.
One thing that I hated in my office was those taking home items that were bought for the office. My position had me going out on site visits to rural areas and growers were part of our customer base. We weren’t allowed to receive or buy items from said growers. I would treat the office to fresh cherries and such from my own pocket buying from independent vendors along the highways. One of my coworkers thought it was fair game to take a portion home with him for his family. So, I am not subsidizing his his grocery bill especially since he was on a higher pay scale. It always irked me as he thought he was entitled to it.
Second Last Story - At war with someone you share a fence with? I was at war with someone I shared a WALL with. My neighbours, in the townhouse complex in which I live, would have their kids kick a ball at the wall starting around 6:00am, on weekends. When playing in the back yard they would kick a soccer ball at my back windows and patio door, repeatedly. They wanted to force me to move. I wanted to get them evicted. Apparently so did several other of my neighbours because they *were* evicted, but I'm still here.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 if it was true I'd just stand there with a bag of chips and watch the beautiful act of petty revenge unfolding before me lol 😆 I honestly really hate idiots who try and rush people for a car park literally go find another car park jerk
As someone who lives in the South where the average temperature with humidity can be between 95 Fahrenheit and 115 Fahrenheit, I keep my house at 78 Fahrenheit. 62 Fahrenheit requires you to wear a sweatshirt and pants, and that's in the summer, not in the winter. I would have done the exact same thing
Found the update for Story 5: Sherry is still at the restaurant but OP assumes corporate has been doing some digging on her allegations. In the mean time I guess Sherry has began going after OP’s son and pulling similar shenanigans.
Cold Temperatures keep workers agitated, but awake. It keeps products chilled, and less subject to decay or heat damage. Also, the place is cool enough to wear more clothing and protective gear. This done at college too because the buildings are well insulated with computers and equipment.
Yes, but there is a point to where some people (such as myself, who are on blood thinners) become horribly chilled despite the clothes we are wearing and begin uncontrollable shivering. This is neither pleasant to deal with nor conducive to productive work. For refrigerated storage this is fine as employees are in and out getting chances to warm up, for an office work environment it's not.
As for story #11, the slow driver could have been an elderly person starting to get night blindness (some people get that condition as they get old), and was nervous about driving at night and was just trying to be careful. Never judge the actions of others in a situation like that until you know all the details. The OP in that story could have been an asshole.
@@geraldgrenier8132 correct, most states actually have laws against going to far below the posted speed limit. For Ohio going 10 or more below the limit can be ticketed for obstructing traffic. Colorado it's more than 5 below if the posted limit is below 45, and if the posted limit is 45 or high traveling less than 40mph is considered reckless operation.
As a 66 yo man I can say that my night vision isn't what it used to be. My bigger problem, however, is the glare from oncoming headlights or those reflected in my mirrors as my eyes no longer adjust quickly to brightness changes. Still I manage to maintain the speed limit/flow of traffic because I know a car moving too slowly is as much a traffic hazard as a speeding, reckless driver. Many states have posted minimum speeds as well as speed limits.

@@merlinathrawes746 my best Karen moments are cool, calm and collected. I start with... " Excuse me, but do you really think this is appropriate to be doing in front of customers?" I will also step in when a customer is abusive to employees.

I was brought up Christian and many lessons still stick with me today. Such as judge not, least ye too be judged, forgiveness and understanding. I never saw anywhere in The Bible where Jesus discriminated against anyone. But unlike the rest of us, Jesus was perfect. In general, I feel that an obvious racist deserves what they get. But I will say that not making sure of a possible, very expensive laptop and almost certainly ruining it is going too far. But I really don't have any problems with the papers and binders being ruined, they can be recreated/replaced. The backpack can be washed. But seriously, who in this day and age leaves any personal property, let alone a laptop, unguarded for anyone to mess with probor steal? I LOVE the parking revenge story. And being a retired truck driver who's had to park and go into a Walmart for groceries and supplies, I've parked and taken up many spaces with my rig. But I always made sure to park in the back of the lot with few to no cars near me. I have no problems with a person driving carefully. But, a person driving too slowly for traffic conditions is as much of a hazard as someone driving recklessly while speeding and is almost as likely to cause an accident.
I almost feel like the last guy should have thrown shade at party Karen for the fact she's claiming he has 5 baby mamas by pointing out this all happened cause she was trying to pick up another boyfriend/multiple baby daddies but I dunno if that would be going to her level or not
Story 8 - That can be actually seen as criminal damage, more so if the laptop got damaged/destroyed. Not to mention if that had a copy of work they were to hand in and you just destroyed it they can file a complaint regarding your actions and get yourself kicked out of your course. There is ZERO reason to be doing such just because someone calls you by a slur. What OP should have done was record them on their phone, phone clearly visible on the table, and then if they said it again, gone and told the librarian and told them to deal with them. Failing that, if they are students, report them to campus police/faculty. Such isnt allowed on campus. Now if that is back in a time when such would hardly be delt with, report it to the on campus unions that deal with such. Easy to have gotten their names from anything they left unattended. PS: To add, before anyone jumps in and says its illegal to record someone else. A library is a public place, even if its a campus library, so recording someone isnt against the law.
Depends on the school, so many don't do jack sh** about forms of hazings, frat and sorority problems, and SA. So I understand when students take it into their own hands. No matter their charges, if they take the reason WHY public, they'll probably just get a fat GoFundMe bailout and the school apologizing if it went public students like that went to the school.
Can we talk about how normalized male on male violence is? The last story shouldn't've been about denying them entry to other bars, it should've been about calling the cops and getting the man arrested.
I don't get them anymore, but I lost track of how many calls i got offering highly discounted to free cruises due to my previous cruise, thing is, I never went on a full cruise in my life. Closest to a cruise is a sub-cruise ship rented for a few hours by an employer for a cheap party. (the ship was the closest to a budget ship for mid sized parties you can get)
As someone who lives where its really fucking cold during winter, 16.6c would almost be considered torture. 16c is what you'd maybe expect as a summer temperature inside, during winter the temp is usually at 20c on a normal winter day upto 25c when it's extra cold.
Clever how you get people to watch the entire video which helps with the money via watch time, by putting the main story, the one in the title, which gets people to watch it, last. Also sneaky. I've noticed the pattern for a while.
Assult spilling coffee on someone's else stuff is an escalation that is never justified. If the racist guy then punches you, why should not his escalation not justified since someone just ruined his homework and hours of effort. It doesn't help me as a black man and pushes the movement backwards.
Ah, yes. Bannied. Might want to put the letters at the bottom of the thumbnail. Would make it easier on you, and it wouldnt change much as far as how well the video does

62 degrees is definitely to cold!
For me 65-68 is my comfort zone. I keep the ac / heat at that range
62 degrees is too cold for anything, IMO.
I did a night as Shore Patrol in Olangapo, a liberty port in the Philippines. In an area of six square blocks, there were 220 bars.
