I freaking love my Durango it’s a beast!!
Dave, the rig is looking and performing awesome. Think about doing a front differential drop to reduce the maximum angle on the CV shafts. I'm sure you could weld something up with a couple of steel plates to get it down 3 or 4 inches, look at the lift system box kits sold by the big suspension companies to get some ideas. Then do the leaf over axle on the rear and you'll be ready for some 35s. I look forward to the next video.
That's a really great idea. I might just try to figure something out or just cut the fenders lol! Thanks for watching.
I have a diff drop and axle flip on one of mine, definitely made the front lift capability a lot more. Currently at the 5.5” setting, thinking about swapping it to my other one with a body lift already on it. It’d be around 8-9” suspension lift with 3” body lift. Hoping to fit 40” tires under it some day.
Or just solid axle swap it and it wont matter and you can also lift it higher if you wanted
This Park is amazing!
Can’t wait for the next video Dave, this thing has come a long ways from where it started and it absolutely dominates everywhere man!! Keep up the good work and amazing videos!!
Cut out the front and rear fenders and fit buggers tires also with a 3" body lift to clear 35s , would look sweet
I am actually considering the body lift, but if the rust keeps going at this rate I might not have much of a body to lift.
Nice video! Going to romp my Durango this weekend! I resurrected it from sitting behind a friends shop for several years. Save it from the scrap yard. Had to put a little love into it but its a ripper. Black 4x4 with the 318 v8 and 250k miles. Slapped some 32 inch mega motos on it and it roots real hard.
lol I got my tundra stuck in that hole at the bottom of the hill too
Yeah some of those holes look not too bad and are vicious, and then some look deep but a Prius can get through it.
I'm sub'd lol You guys are giving me so many ideas for my Durango. It's silver too but wasn't a show truck. It has the cloth interior and the 5.2 but I don't mind. I'll put a few ponies into it. I had a 318 in my ol RamCharger and it was still a beast with a few mods
What on earth did you do to your hood? now you gotta look through smoke everytime your in water.
love this series
Thanks!
I've been waiting for another episode thank you sir
No problem, glad you enjoyed it!
Breakage is part of the fun! Lol, When it comes to halfshalfs if 1 breaks I generally do both just so I dont have to fight on the trail the next time.
Are you running with lockers? If so what kind?
Tires make a big difference man
What state are you in
What kind of bumper is up front?
Tires yet?
Hey Dave, how's Duranged? Any upcoming videos?
Yes stating to shoot this week. Finally got more time!
15:43 Jeep pulling out a 4Runner? Ahhhh...was that a publicity stunt from Jeep? SMH..... Most time 4Runners don't ask for help
I've been needing a midsize V8 4x4. What's the best year to get and which transmission is best ?
Imho the Durango 2000 year. With 5.9 engine. Engine is bullet proof, transfercase is manual. No electric stuff to deal with, front differential is C233 wich is beefier than its predecesor
