This is definitely a beatable run. Just requires a lot of luck, which is something that I don't get very often, and time to do attempts, which once you have enough bad luck you start to deter from the category as a whole. I do plan to try and beat this, I have had multiple runs have better pace and die to dumb mistakes at the end.

hey! I know this video was posted years ago but I have a question, how do i make garry notice that his hand is cut off? I've tried to reach this end several times, but when it comes to burning mary's painting, garry doesn't talk about the cut hand and the game goes on normally
So in order to get this ending, you have get 8 'bond' points with Garry. There are certain things that you have in order to get those. A few of them are really easy as they are just default dialogue options, but are others like reading the poster in the maze with the mannequins in Grey area or looking at a poster in purple.
What ending are you trying to get? If Promise of Reunion or Memories Crannies, then top left area. If Ib All Alone, Together Forever or Forgotten Potrait then you need to just find Garry and talk to him.

It would take me like 3 days to complete the game but for someone to complete this in under 30 minutes is incredible!

I really want to get a decent run but whenever I'm on quite a good roll the doll/key room screws me over.

Yep it's that bloody room AND the hide and seek one, but that RNG is pretty early, so i usually just reset if that one screws up.
Not only that RNG but whether or not you take damage early, making good movements to influence where things move. So many things in such a short time.

The application used is called LiveSplit, if you want to use the same thing that I use in my runs.
How did the text move so quickly? And I thought you had to get 8 bond points with Garry to get this ending?

Speedruns are all about taking risks. There are some where I take ones that pretty dumb but somehow they worked out.
