Dang - I really spent hours of my winters when I was a young boy watching this. I am so glad you put these up. Now I can sit here in my office and reminisce.
Love it. Glad we could bring it back!
Outstanding !
Wish they still made fly fishing videos like this.
So do we! Such classics.
The density of information is so (wonderfully) high in these SA videos.
Do you know where this was filmed? Kinda looks like the Clark Fork

My most favorite fly fishing movie ever made. I watched it countless times growing up!
Love it!
Woahh!! How is that guy catching all those fish? He must be fishing a micro euro leader. Ha ha , ... but seriously. i love that SA has made so many of these great films available on youTube. I also liked the marshmallow hatch. :)
Glad you enjoyed!
Absolutely perfect.
Agree!
Thanks!
I use to care about the hatch until I found out they will take any fly that looks like a bug even if it is a bug they never seen before
There's nothing wrong with trying different flies, until you find that one fish that is keying on very specific cripples! (almost certain to be the bug that's NOT in your box)
there is my favorite reel and my old net ...
Which one is that?
When there used to be a Lower McCloud River before they raised the level of Shasta Lake, essentially destroying close to a 1/4 mile of Red Band Rainbow Trout spawning grounds, and permanently flooding the 1/2 a dozen Camp Grounds all along the river…You could stand up either side of the river and see hundreds of trout 18” to 24” in length, 2.5 - 4 lbs. in weight, on the spawning beds in Early March before the River would open for fishing. It was a beautiful sight to see, too bad it’s gone now, and is now just lake all the way up the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake until you get to Privately owned Hearst Property… Who sell McCloud River Aquifer 💦 Water to the Nestle corporation…😢
