Onward isn't really a MOBA based on Skytear Horde. It is the Sequel to the original "Skytear", the MOBA game that introduced the world in which "Skytear Horde" is set. Also afaik the "tear" in Skytear isn't pronounced like the tear you cry while reading my smartass comment. I am really looking forward to it since they will offer a cheaper pledge for veterans who already own everything Skytear. Bother games use the same miniatures. Onward adds just a few. Never before was I this happy for painting all the miniatures of a board game.
A friend picked up Intent to Kill for me at Gen Con. It's my type of game. I really enjoy the deduction aspect where the killer has to try and control the flow of information. I really enjoy it.
Thanks for the overview. Also launching tomorrow is "Medieval Trilogy Playing Cards + Reprints" from Garphill Games. (maybe you already mentioned it somewhere)
Men-Nefer is a really outstanding game, glad that you point it out ! Maybe the reason why it does fly under the radar is that it does nothing revolutionary. But what a game ! Just awesome. In my view this is together with Ezra and Nehemiah the best medium-heavy Euro of 2024.
Boy I'm glad that I sold all my Cthulhu Wars stuff, as I had pretty much everything, but they're such a messed up company that I just dumped everything of theirs that I had, which CW was most of it anyway. I hadn't seen the video since I unsubbed from their FB page months ago.
From BGG "Playing cards one at a time, players in Love Letter use the abilities of these key people in the Princess' life to outwit their opponents and successfully deliver their letter and gain her favor. Players must utilize each character's special skill to avoid being caught and successfully deliver their letter to the Princess. Once a set number of favor tokens are acquired, that player wins and becomes the Princess' confidant." Essentially a social deduction game. The base game has been themed with different genre over the years.
What I love about the Clans of Caledonia expansion is that it's a no BS KS. Reasonable price, one version, final product.

Chris, what's your source for "hundreds of pages of maps" for Enormity? Not saying it isn't true, but haven't seen that anywhere yet.
This reminds me so much of ISS Vanguard., or am I getting the wrong impression???!?!? :) LOL thx
Cant way for onwatd. Skytear is amazing

Correction for you: Skytear Onward is the spiritual successor of Skytear Horde, but of the original Skytear
It seems like you wasn't aware of the existence of Skytear 😂
When I see book dungeons or content, I question the value. Anyone else? Am I off base?
9:40 No clue what Love Letters is...

Don't buy anything from CMON until they start delivering. This company needs to understand.
