Make sure they keep the babies separate from the adults too and don't mix different species together either. I got burned 🔥 big time by the woman I bought my Indian from. Some people in the reptile "hobby" can be scum. Watch out for the signs so you don't become their prey! Buying an animal is emotional process. It's a completely non essential purchase. That gives the buyer (you) HUGE LEVERAGE. We need to not forget our power as buyers, and don't be afraid to tell people no. And don't be afraid to call people out and report them if you see any kind of abuse. Lots of breeders have collections that are far beyond their personal capacity so any kind of health testing (culture sampling in particular) is few and far between and in alot of cases non existent. So you never really know what your getting exactly. It could test positive for Mycoplasma, you would have no idea until you bought it and it's all over.
