Free PO-33 Kit: Playdate (incl. Pocket Operator PO-133 & PO-33 transfer file + audio samples)

- Hey! In this video, I'm jamming with my FREE Playdate Pocket Operator PO-33 kit and sample pack cause...guess what…after waiting for more than a year, my Playdate by @PanicVideo has finally arrived! Yay! And mates and matesesses, let me tell you, I absolutely love this little box! Ok, "love" is too mild a term…I'm addicted🙈 all the Season 1 games are incredibly fun and it's so hard to put this thing down to make PO-33 kits and sample packs. So, one of these days, while I was enjoying some quality time my new best buddy, the Playdate, I was like, “Hey, I really want to make a new sample pack but I also want to play with my Playdate…so why not create a sample pack using Playdate sounds as source material?” Yeah, and that's exactly what I did...and working on this sound pack was so much fun. For the background video, I recorded visuals from the super cool app called Ljudbilden by @humbletune ...and I did it the hard way, you know, recording it top-down with my camera and everything, capturing all the little dust particles on the screen…until my buddy @PerplexOn told me there was a dedicated Playdate screen capture app🙈 Then I simply redid the background video using this app called Mirror, and it looked so much better😁
All the sounds in this PO-33 sound pack are made from Playdate sounds. I used a bunch of tools and tricks to turn stuff into proper drum and synth sounds. If you're interested in how I make my sounds, drop a comment and I'll try and whip up a tutorial or something.

If you're wondering how to transfer data to your @teenageengineering PO-33 or PO-133, don't worry - it's super simple.
I've put together a quick tutorial on how all of this works. Check it out here:

Just download the backup file and connect your device with a 3.5mm stereo cable (use the “in” jack on the left-hand side of the PO-33 / PO-133). On your PO-33 / PO-133, press WRITE + SOUND + RECORD simultaneously (“rcu” should pop up on your screen) hit play on the transferring device. Grab a coffee and let the PO-33 / PO-133 do its thing (it’ll tell you when it’s done)!
All my samples and kits are copyright-free - you can use them in your productions, videos, or whatever. The main thing is: have fun with this kit (or any of my other kits or packs)!!! Let me know if you make a cool track with one of my kits or sample packs!

The cool thing with the Playdate (as with Pocket Operators too) is, you can just pick it up if you've got like 5 minutes or so, play a for a little while and put it aside...like, it's alsways ready to go and the games are not really time-consuming...the ideal console for anyone who hasn't got that much time, so to say😁
Heeeeey man I remember hearing about The Playdate so long ago because I think the company who does it is like the same company who made firewatch which is just an amazing game has something or another to do with it. Anyways I remember I heard about it around when that came out so play date was just kind of a thought at the moment but then I was reading up on it even up until they announce the games and what kind of games they'd be but then saw the waitlist and never signed up. So cool to hear it in action here.
