U HAD one with Antman taking a cookie, Hulkbuster grabbing the cookie for himself (or vice versa), then there was a card where they fight for it. You also had one whole scene for America and Skull. As well as a whole story for Loki and Doctor Strange!
I just bought my first and only single pack from hot topic the other day and it had a redeemable! Didn’t realize how rare it was until now. Kinda crazy
ngl i feel like these cards could look so much better. they legit got a pattern put it in the background and put a standing pop in a T-pose on the card and added different materials to it. At least pokemon cards and sports cards look good. i could have done this on photo shop in 5 mins and just printed it out on a printing website

Hold onto that Thor and those convention exclusives. They are already selling for quite a bit of money. The /99 are selling like crazy. I bought some promos as well.
- QOTD: I haven’t been into trading card since original Yu-Gi-OH kinda hasn’t on the Funko trading cards like the Funko NFT - idk I may grab it if I can get a good discount from somewhere or if I’m not spending a lot of money which probably won’t be until November (too many cool games coming out in September and October) - I like how you grouped all the silver ones together and had the gold separated 😂
I collected Marvel cards as a kid, so this definitely activates my nostalgia. The basic cards look a little boring, as you've said, but definitely enough variants and shiny things that I can see it becoming addictive. I doubt I'd buy a box or go all in on collecting, but if I pass through stores with packs, I can maybe see myself gambling on the occasional pack.
Question of the day: i would like cbn having one of these for making little poster behind my pop shelf it can be look cool but they need to change the price it's clearly too expensive
2 questions I have can they be weighed easily out of the rest of the packs and are they in a fixed location cuz if they are you will see lots of people selling the rest after taking out the redeemable in the future.

Most of those art pieces on the card were generally used for the packaging as well as the concept art for creating the Pops. You can tell how old some of the art they used from the style. And all the Funko Art cards are just t-shirt art assets throughout the years. It's a cool way to see what's been done, but I personally would have loved to have some actual original Funko hand drawn sketches from the artists for chase pieces.

if the redemption is the same captain America pop for every box this is an easy pass for me, even if there's a chase that's pretty cheap/lame of them, wont even be a very exclusive figure

A Naruto CCG existed years ago, and was around for probably like 5 years or so….it was a fun game. These pop cards are a blatant money grab that no one should waste their money on.

The market is flooded with collector cards right now. Don't think these cards r gunna take off like other collector cards like Pokémon or Yu-gi-oh especially at that price.. but I could b wrong.

They seem to be lacking in quality of image. I feel like they remind me of old school cards that came with bubble gum or some type of candy! Also getting that many repeats in a single pack is a huge nope for me!

The cards are awesome, this is coming from a Pokémon TCG collector. They look like they are good quality and will grade pretty good. The idea is to make the common cards really bland because everyone gets them in the pack and reserve the special art for good cards which makes sense. The funko art cards wouldn’t be special if every card was like that. The special /99 cards are already selling on the secondary market for quite a bit. The SDCC boxes should contain a convention exclusive card 1/20
They are okay to me. Yes, I get they are common cards, but that isn't an excuse for lack of creativity. I was more so saying the commons should have been the Funko Art cards and the rares could be variations.
I’m not massively impressed, watched Captain Pops open them too. For the price point, I genuinely think the art styles are poor, they’re just glam shots of pops on a background, similar to a lot of Anime TCG’s where they’re simply pulling a screen grab and then adding some text. Even those Funko Arts, a good bunch were mirroring the T-shirt designs. There are cheaper card collectibles out there which are far far superior, even Pokemon is cheaper - if you did want to collect some Anime specific cards, I’d highly recommend Naruto Kayou and the One Piece Card game. All in all, as you say, if the redeemable comes out as a really cool pop, then maybe I’ll change my mind but for now, I personally have zero interest - I’m just not sure the redeemable is going to be a pop worth $200, there aren’t any piece counts right? Honestly can’t see this product doing well at all but I’m also not one of these Funko Fans who hate all things Funko 😅 so hoping they find some success!

I’m sorry but these are extremely bad. Please don’t throw away your money on these. The designs and overall styles are very basic. Coming from the art’s community, I’ve never seen a bigger ripoff!

it looks like the pack trick for these funko pop cards is going to be 3 from the back to the front
As first opening keep the base cards of course get a binder to get the whole set. But any bulk doubles sell them as a lot of eBay.
You should put them in with pops for auctions
