- Sky News host Liz Storer has pointed out the hypocrisy of the government spending $450 million on two new luxury jets for the Prime Minister and other ministers.
“The question mark is the luxury,” Ms Storer said.
“Although if they want to practice what they preach, they should all be on bicycles or some sort of emissions-free bus.
“Because they expect everyday people to pay dearly, and we all are, for the green dream that they’re foisting onto everyone while they … spend almost half a billion dollars of our money to buy two luxury jets that will spew out emissions for decades to come.”
And yet they pass the ute tax for us who actually pay their wages.. How about we stop paying taxes?
Don't pay tax. Don't give org crim synds $$$.
@@ZELJKO472 💯
as a tax payer i should be able to travel free on them...............
Always easy to waste other people's money.
Finally everyone can see that labor do not actually represent the Australian people but represent the w.e.f. Hildebrand is a bag of piss and wind.
Maybe the Homeless could live in them.
$450 Million is a Lot of Help for Alot of People.
The deepest circle of h3ll is reserved for these "things"
Why buy one when you can have two for twice the price. Also guessing he jumped off the climate change wagon.
A country with only 25 million people should not be buying 2 airliners converted into business jets for the hired hands in government. They should buy large plain executive jets like Musk, Gates, Bezos etc use at $70 million a pop plus less operating costs, less CO2, and operate in and out of more airports.
The current population of Australia is 26,668,397 as of Sunday, May 19, 2024
No we don't agree. We the slaves work, budget to pay bills, have to choose wisely what we can allow our children to participate in because its all expensive, and these bozos go buy new jets to fly around. No, this is not justified. They can fly first class on a normal public plane, they do not need to have private jets......they want them, its not a need...... one-day they will have to answer to the Lord: where much is given much is expected.....
It's just the $450 million to buy ,but the $$$ to keep them maintained & pilots & crew to pamper them also .
@@markentwist read your message and think about what you just said. These people are servants to the public. are they acting like servants to the public to you? are they truthfully looking out for our best interests? i dont think so.
Only the best for Greasy-Albo and his team of dogs, it's called "Keeping up Appearances"!!
America has two "Airforce One" planes, thus Greasy-Albo has to be in the same league, all at a time the Australian people are going through tough cost of living crisis.
Australia, with a relatively low number of people compared to other countries, we need two planes? The government must be planning a heavy travel schedule in the coming year, most ministers will not be in the country.
Of course, Greasy-Albo really needs his "personal plane" as he's due to tie the knot with his "rent-a-girlfriend" soon and will need his privacy going on his "honeymoon". He really also wanted A.I Pilots but that may be preseaved as being over the top so he gets his second choice of naming the plane "TOTO 1". Meanwhile, us peasants have to endure the cost of living crisis, unaffordable fuel, housing crisis and living in cars, tents, under bridges or on the streets. Greasy-Albo and his government are making a mockery of the Australian people and still get to laugh in our faces while they enjoy the "HIGH LIFE". What parasites this mob are....they should be charged with human rights abuse and thus be exterminated with extreme prejudice.🤬🤬👹👹👹🤡🤡🤡🦬💩
Only the best for Albogrease...
When have these clowns been In business of saving money?
Get used to it...the greens and teals will give him another term.
Dear God nooo, but yes, you are right.
Joe Hildebrand you know nothing about the real world
Let's cut the carbon footprint, we are in a climate crisis you know! Not for Al-pinocchio though, he works hard for the country, he's a socialist leftie made good (and a connoisseur of the finer things in life) 👣😂😂😂😂😂
$450 million????
How many houses that could build right.
Don't forget the voice and $650m for a PNG football team.
Could have divided that money up into more rebates per taxpayer or something…
Do not forget the cost of training flight and maintenance staff on these new jets and a spare parts bill over the next 10 years that will equal the amount spent purchasing these planes, great work Albosleazy and the snake Charmer, vote one nation.
Big out buggies for the elite. He's preparing for the final outbreak. 💉
So, Albo Blew half a billion dollars on the no vote and now another half a billion dollars on these jets. Thats a Billion dollars wasted by 1 worthless man.
You can only buy 2 base model electric ford f150's for that amount.
Bugger giving them new jets then again Albo and his cohorts are no different from the leaders of any other tyrant regime buy themselves pretty and luxury things will us peasants struggle with even keeping a roof over our heads. This $450million will be no different than what was wasted on the voice referendum and power grab. Reckon the government shouldn’t have private luxury jets they should be using commercial jets like those Aussies that can afford to fly and yeah the government should lead by example and should be cut emissions by not flying.
utter bullshit !
The Voice of the never ending taxpayer bills for his personal indulgences is surely loud and clear by now, he's a me first spoilt entitled little brat! 🥳 It's my, my, my money! 🤓
There are plenty of planes over 20 years old that are still in the air. The VIP jets have probably not done that many klm anyway. What a crock.
his is Seriously Marie Antoinete bubble.
Go commercial airlines ,be cheaper for us . Our taxes $$$ spent in a better way in a cost of living crisis surley . & shows they are really understanding our pain .
What’s wrong with taking a Virgin or Qantas flight? A damn side cheaper.
OMG...
Are those jets electric? Hydrogen? Solar or wind powered?
Guess Albo hasn't heard about what's been happening with Boeing planes hahaha
I state again what the hell is wrong with the bloody jets the Air Force already has? Okay I didnt know about the lease price but what about using jets the Airforce already has. Its good enough for the servicemen then it should be good enough for that worthless grub.
That's a lot of carbon dioxide to be sent into the upper atmosphere!
Old Joe is a bit of a joke isn’t he
they have 2 one as a backup in case something goes wrong with the other look at air force 1 it has a backup aircraft as well
It would be worth the cost in that case! 🙋
Liberal did on behalf the defence, Lease 2 BBJ's, but Labor no I will buy them $450m
What about John Howard? He actually bought the original jet with the 20 years old and his wife chose gold taps for the bathrooms. Once again, Sky News double standards.
Did Sky mention the Jets were ordered by the previous Coalition Government. 😂 and Albo saved a million dollars over the Coalition deal. 😂
Meanwhile the President of Argentina travels cattle class.
We the people did not agree to NEGATIVE EMISSIONS to balance out the highly justified excesses of our highly important and esteemed political class (net zero by year zip my butt)
Sharri really likes her
Bit of a risk going with Boeing.
Whatever happened to 'net zero target'?
Are they electric!
How about flying economy
think u find they are leased and this was organised back in scumbag morrisons day albo couldnt have stopped it without financial penalty even if he wanted to plus time to move the old 737-700 bbj's on they have done their work for the nation
lets shift in
a richer country Singapore doesn't provide private jets to it's PM. The PM normally takes the commercial flight for official travel.
