  • Sky News host Liz Storer has pointed out the hypocrisy of the government spending $450 million on two new luxury jets for the Prime Minister and other ministers.
“The question mark is the luxury,” Ms Storer said.
“Although if they want to practice what they preach, they should all be on bicycles or some sort of emissions-free bus.
“Because they expect everyday people to pay dearly, and we all are, for the green dream that they’re foisting onto everyone while they … spend almost half a billion dollars of our money to buy two luxury jets that will spew out emissions for decades to come.”

A country with only 25 million people should not be buying 2 airliners converted into business jets for the hired hands in government. They should buy large plain executive jets like Musk, Gates, Bezos etc use at $70 million a pop plus less operating costs, less CO2, and operate in and out of more airports.

No we don't agree. We the slaves work, budget to pay bills, have to choose wisely what we can allow our children to participate in because its all expensive, and these bozos go buy new jets to fly around. No, this is not justified. They can fly first class on a normal public plane, they do not need to have private jets......they want them, its not a need...... one-day they will have to answer to the Lord: where much is given much is expected.....

Only the best for Greasy-Albo and his team of dogs, it's called "Keeping up Appearances"!!
America has two "Airforce One" planes, thus Greasy-Albo has to be in the same league, all at a time the Australian people are going through tough cost of living crisis.
Australia, with a relatively low number of people compared to other countries, we need two planes? The government must be planning a heavy travel schedule in the coming year, most ministers will not be in the country.
Of course, Greasy-Albo really needs his "personal plane" as he's due to tie the knot with his "rent-a-girlfriend" soon and will need his privacy going on his "honeymoon". He really also wanted A.I Pilots but that may be preseaved as being over the top so he gets his second choice of naming the plane "TOTO 1". Meanwhile, us peasants have to endure the cost of living crisis, unaffordable fuel, housing crisis and living in cars, tents, under bridges or on the streets. Greasy-Albo and his government are making a mockery of the Australian people and still get to laugh in our faces while they enjoy the "HIGH LIFE". What parasites this mob are....they should be charged with human rights abuse and thus be exterminated with extreme prejudice.🤬🤬👹👹👹🤡🤡🤡🦬💩

Bugger giving them new jets then again Albo and his cohorts are no different from the leaders of any other tyrant regime buy themselves pretty and luxury things will us peasants struggle with even keeping a roof over our heads. This $450million will be no different than what was wasted on the voice referendum and power grab. Reckon the government shouldn’t have private luxury jets they should be using commercial jets like those Aussies that can afford to fly and yeah the government should lead by example and should be cut emissions by not flying.
