Hey, Felecia! Once again, you scored! You always seem to find awesome things, whether it be in stores, online, or yard/garage/estate sales! The sticker treasure trove you found is a part of history! Just like when you showed those early, bulky computer stickers, you can see what was popular at that time! My daughter was an avid sticker collector and I have them as when she moved out, she didn’t have room to take everything! She has the usual, basic holiday generic stickers! She also has lots of sentiment stickers! She has assorted animal stickers, pop icon stickers, holographic stickers, glitter stickers, floral stickers, paper doll stickers, and Scratch n Sniff stickers! Then there are the licensed stickers! Peanuts, Suzy’s Zoo, Lisa Frank, Care Bears, Cabbage Patch, Strawberry Shortcake, Pac-Man, Holly Hobbie, Rugrats, the Smurfs, Rainbow Brite, Scooby-Doo, Monchhichi, Looney Tunes, the Muppets, the Flintstones, the Jetsons, Shirt Tales, the Wizard of Oz and many more! I have a humorous Scratch n Sniff stickers story! My sister was in the hospital and she had a back and forth gag relationship with my then husband! She lived in Northern New York and we lived in Texas! He decided to send her a get well card and enclosed some ‘special’ Scratch n Sniff stickers that he had taken out of the package to make it easier for my sister to enjoy! My father happened to be in my sister’s hospital room when the mail was delivered! He could barely tell me the story that night on the phone because he was laughing so hard! It seems those ‘special’ Scratch n Sniff stickers were skunks! Because they weren’t in the package, my sister put her hands directly on the strongly-scented stickers! No matter what she did, she couldn’t get the smell off her hands! She had had gallbladder surgery a few days before and was having to hold a pillow in front of her to help when she coughed! My father was literally crying because he was laughing so hard and my sister painfully joined in! She vowed retribution on my ex! She and our father would relate that stickers story over the years! I’ve rambled on long enough and I haven’t even seen part 2 yet! Thanks for sharing yet another terrific find! Take care! Toni
LOL LOL & More LOL! Toni, thank you so much for making me crack up! Now, that’s the story that keeps on giving, lol! Funny, as I was searching for scratch n sniff stickers I came across some stinky ones-had no clue those even existed. Lord, I pray I don’t have those in the lot I purchased on Ebay, lol. You have everything! Punches, stamps and now stickers? And you named the ones I hope I have and if not will purchase. As a matter of fact, my pac man stickers are on the way. Good for you for keeping your daughters stickers. How I wish I had stuff like this from my childhood. Do your daughter have sticker books as well? If not join in with me and make one. I can’t wait to add stickers to my sticker junk journal and if I have some you like let’s really revert back to years gone by and have a sticker SWAP.
