Do you think that in a hybrid system where a battery can't hold enough energy like a dozer at a mining site, could we use a slightly underpowered turbine -> generator that runs full out all the time to keep it in its efficiency range then use the battery to make up the difference in power demand for short times? Also in pursuit of lower emissions, we could use natural gas especially considering shale has brought natural gas to 10-20%% of price when I was born.
