I loved this episode .... Especially the part y'all were sharing tips on how to keep your lamp on....The parable of the ten virgins has really been on my mind ...I think keeping your lamp has means going the extra mile...the foolish virgins did "just enough" which eventually had them being out of their light...so for us,I think we keep our light by going beyond the "just enough" eg.just going to church...We really need to go the extra mile & cultivate a real relationship with Christ outside of religious traditions or practices.
Rebuilding my relationship with God and my why is because God gives me a love from within no one can give not even myself. It’s time for me personally to get back in alignment! I’m learning how to not look back !!! Absolutely not !! 😂!!! God did not say that !!!!! Thank you guys for confirming I’m on the right path ! My only issue is surrendering 😢.
Sorry but works is very important, god says in James 2 :26 that faith without works is dead . You can’t have faith without works . I encourage you to read James 2: 14-26 it speaks of faith and the importance of works . Abraham was declared righteous after he showed his faith with works .
Hey, i'm barely starting my walk w God 🥲 I deleted social media to focus and every day I watch christian podcasts to fill my mind up w his word, what else can I do to make my relationship with Him stronger? 🥲💓
Pray daily atleast 25-30mins a day unless you feel to go longer also try fasting often ! You already did the first step which is started to consecrate yourself so I commend you on that! Watch sermons daily or every other day basically make a regimen to follow and stick with it! But most of all give yourself grace & be intentional ✨I pray this helps you ♥️may his presence be with you 🙏🏾

I loved this episode and loved the question of how to keep your oil in your lamp and it made me also think of literal fire. When you light a fire it’s not meant to burn forever, you have to continually “feed” the fire or it will burn out. Then I think about how many other fires can be lit from That one fire continuing to burn. This was so good!
