4:24 I'm unistalling the game, lol. That was actually quite crazy, though. I guess that move took too long to execute to punish. Auto correct most likely helped Ryu in that situation, too.
Something is "off" about SF6. It's just not as much fun to spectate. I know the players will get better, but apart from that, there's still something about the game itself that's not working. I can't put my finger on it, but if I had to, it's the hit physics. The characters don't feel like they're hitting with weight or impact. They're moving a body part, and the other character is reacting as though they were hit hard, but the actual strike would indicate otherwise. The animations are also somehow just not working.
@@ProjectLDV Really good call. The effects seem to be overcompensating for a lack of visual interest and engagement: "here's this big flashy thing indicating something cool is happening, try not to notice that spectating experience is kind of flat." There's a great video on youtube called "sf6 animation sucks." He makes a lot of good points about why the animation, well, sucks. I also think the move towards a way more realistic looking style was a mistake. They should've continued the evolution of the art syle of Sf4 and Sf5, but now these just look like generic COD characters, and Street Fighter has lost something as a result.
@@zoomingby Thanks for mentioning the video. I thought the animation was akward since the reveal, and told myself it would get polished since they still had almost a year til release. But nope! they didn't touch it ☹!

The animation is definitely off, they cut a lot of corners and are using the art style and lots of effects to cover it up.
