Randle is way more difficult for defenses to guard (when he's not settling for the 3), than Bridges.

JR is a no brainer! JR when healthy is the best power forward. He gets double,triple. JR was the one who made us relevant again before JB. I hope Knicks fans remember that JR when on the floor is very good for our team. Knicks can get MB and JR.

Per Athletics , the Knicks made it clearly they weren't actively shopping Randle and want to keep the Trio (JB , OG & Randle) together. Unless it's a big name they're not trading him.
Knicks have excellent chemistry right now. They better be mindful about how they fool with it.

Julius Randle is CONSTANTLY hurt and is not gonna mesh well with this now being Brunsons team. Hes not a great 3 point shooter, has had playoff issues AND is careless with the basketball. Bridges fits this team a HELL of a lot better at this point then Randle does,

What i hate about this segment is you think mikal has the value of julius randle. Randle is double his price point and has had his worst year. If toronto didnt like us and still traded with us, trust me nets would be smart to trade with us. Cause like they said, "THEY REBUILDING" !!!!!!!!

Bridges for sure. Would love to see the Nova continuation. They have proven they can win big together.
I don't think we should need more than 3 first round draft picks for Mikal Bridges. Also I think the Knicks should build around Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart. The Knicks have TONS of draft picks. What I don't understand is why they can't use those picks and get some good players without sending away their top players.
There are plenty of guys they could go for that shouldn't cost them any of the 4 guys I mentioned: Mikal Bridges (he shouldn't be worth more than 3 first round picks), Dejounte Murray, Kyle Kuzma, Pascal Siakam (free agent), Caris LeVert, Jalen Green, Jarrett Allen, Collin Sexton, Lauri Markannen, Jaren Jackson Jr., Miles Bridges, Keldon Johnson, Tyler Herro, Cam Thomas or Jaden Ivey.
Don't give up the farm.....

I'm not mad if we keep Randle, but obviously Bridges would be ideal. I just don't know if BK is looking at someone on our roster + draft picks. We know TOR wanted IQ and RJ, but I don't know if BK wants to restart with Cam Thomas, Randle, and picks. Now the trade for Bridges and Finney-Smith is interesting.

If OG leaves fpr Max money elsewhere, I would then trade for Bridges as we have a lot of draft capital to boost the Nets rebuild and we keep Randle. Bridges is a 3 and D as well and is durable.

Would I want Bridges to be on the roster? Yes. Do I think the Nets would trade him to us? No. If they did, would the Nets take a reasonable amount of players and picks to get it done? Absolutely not. Would I still want Bridges, knowing that overpaying would be a requirement? Nope! Would I rather have him on the team than Randle? Heck no!
Not a good look to trade a real Power forward in Randle for Bridges. Randle has been developing stronger every year to the point of being one of the best Power forwards in the league.
I'm a HUGE Nets' fan, and I'm absolutely sick to my stomach to see how well the knicks are thriving and how disgusting the Nets have become.
I absolutely oppose a Mikal trade to the Nets, but if Sean Marks decides to do so, you should refuse to trade Randle. Give up every 1st and 2nd, as well as Sims and Bogdanovic.

Randle's gotta go. His attitude when he not performing well brings down the whole team. He starts walking down court creating fast break opportunities for the other team. And his points always come at the cost of stopping the flow of our offense

Knicks get Mikal Bridges, Nick Richards
Hornets get Mitch Robinson, Ben Simmons, 2-1st from Knicks
Nets get Miles Bridges, Bojan Bogdanovic, Davis Bertans, 3-1st from Knicks
Knicks complete their Nova Knicks, would free cap space to resign IHart, and get a great back up big on a team friendly deal.
Hornets get a top 10 center (when healthy) which they sorely lack and 2-1st. I’m not sure if Miles wants to stay in Charlotte, so at least the Hornets would get some value back.
Nets get Miles Bridges in a sign & trade, who is 2 years younger than Mikal, has high upside, and better than Jalen Green (who Rockets proposed in a trade with Bk). They’d also rid themselves of Ben Simmons and waive Bogi and Bertans, freeing up nearly $30m in cap space, which they’ll need to avoid the luxury tax, after resigning Nick Claxton and Cam Thomas. Most importantly, they’d get at least 3-1st round picks from the Knicks.

Also Randle is a better player than Bridges. Trading him for Mikal is a bad idea.

Sorry I’m all in on Bridges but those packages are an overpay. Also, I’m no Randle fan but no way do I include him on a package for Bridges. We need another player on the roster who can break you down off the dribble and get a bucket. Right now we only have Brunson who can do that. We also need a back up PG. As good as Duce has been he isn’t a PG. we also need a 4 who can space the floor to open up the lane for Brunson. So I say Randle & McBride and 2 unprotected & 1 protected picks for Lauri Markkanen. Sign Malik Monk in free agency for scoring off the bench. And add Tre Mann from Charlotte for 2 2nds .. I’m not concerned about draft picks because as long as Thibs is coach they will never be a priority. 😂

I don't know if Bridges is a BETTER player than Randle, but he's very good. Additionally, and more importantly, his natural fit with his former teammates would trump anything else.
To be very clear, I would not trade Randle just for sake of moving him. It would have to be for the right player - especially the right player for THIBS!!
I would trade Randle if I could get Bridges. I'm not sure what other players I would consider moving Randle for. He's been a pretty stand-up player and he left money on the table to stay in NY. That has to count for something.

Trade for Donovan Mitchell. They said to small can’t win. Did you see deuce in the lineup with Brunson and deuce is not as good as Donovan. Pick this route if nothing else works out.
