I heard you say that you were using a 4.0 hook. I would think it would be a 3/8 oz weight with the wind

4/0 hook is just the hook size. And not referring to the weight. I’m not sure if any of the goldeneye jighead use a 4/0 hook

yes 4/0 is size of hook. The weight I typically use is 1/2 oz
