If you are a student moving to the UK for studies then this video is definitely for you.
Additional tip: If you feel you are going overweight then buy some additional luggage allowance beforehand from the airline’s website. This would help you save quite a lot opposed to buying additional allowance on the airport. ☺️ I learnt this the hard way lol

I did bring a knife from India. Make sure that it is packed properly. Leave the rest of your questions here and I’ll definitely answer them. Those might help others too ☺️

@@ninadpatankar441 you can check out mega bus or national express from the airport. There’s also a train station at the airport. If you choose to travel by train then Birmingham new street would be the nearest train station from canal side. From the station or bus stop you can take a cab (Prefer using Bolt than Uber since Uber’s quite expensive here).

Is there any restriction on packaging of masala , and other kind of food stuff . I mean will they check bag on aiport??
No there isn’t any restriction as such. I kept all the masalas in their boxes in case security asks to look at the ingredients which they sometimes do. Also, avoid carrying poppy seeds. ☺️

Air india allows 2 bags of 23 kgs each(check-in) plus 1 bag of 8kgs(cabin)

Hey. No jet sprays here lol. I got a portable jet spray thingy from India. Check out Amazon you'd find a lot of options :)

You can take them from your home country only for 1 or 2 months. Then can buy from The UK stores

Yes you most definitely can ☺️
What all documents are required and from where to take sim n all before hand.
You would be getting a sim card when you go for your visa appointment. In terms of documents I took my passport (of course), visa printout, CAS letter, acceptance letter from the uni, degree certificate, bank balance certificate, UKVI printout, vaccination certificate and medical test (TB test) printouts with me.

1. In my experience, no extra charges were levied whenever I used the forex card.
2. I’m pursuing Business and Management
3. You can look for such apartments or house shares on Spare room, right move or zoopla
