Seems like Cathal is forgetting the monumental role Collins played in the war of independence. Not surprising considering Cathal opposed Michael’s strong beliefs of guerrilla tactics and was known to be jealous of him 😂He’s a great man don’t get me wrong but that quote is a load of BS from him

All I have found is: "At a top-level IRA meeting in August 1920, Brugha argued against ambushes of Crown forces unless there was first a call to surrender, but it was dismissed as unrealistic by the brigade commanders present. Brugha also had the idea of moving the front line of the war to England, but was opposed by Collins. Brugha worked to maintain strict rules of conduct for members of the army and for the treatment of prisoners." Which is hardly a bad thing.
