  • If you have a 2009 - Current H-D Touring Model your axle adjusters are from the Flintstones era. They are hard to adjust accurately and can even spin out of adjustment causing your belt or chain to loosen.
    Introducing the new Billet Axle Adjusters from the legendary Performance Machine. They feature Moto inspired adjustability in a CNC billet design that allows for fine tune adjustability and stays put. Available in Gold Ano and Black Ano finishes.
    MSRP is $499.95

    Awesome product! I've already got my hardtail axle adjusters figured out but I'm wondering if someone makes something similar for my KLX that uses that stupid cam style.

    Why just 2009 and current? What about the older model touring?

    • @HawkQFI
      @HawkQFI Год назад +1

      As a guess 2009 is when the new chassis/frame came out, so prior to that probably doesn't fit or work.

      @@danielgraham9104 I’m glad I’m able to share… that axle was a waste of money TO ME jus my opinion, messed up my chain and the small lock nuts stripped as the wheel moved while riding in assuming. Took off the axle it was bent, installed stock axles back on with the locking washers and couldn’t have been happier… if I were to spend money again, I’d buy zippers or monkey motor sports axle adjusters. Actually know people who used and abused them, seems to do it’s job just fine

      Because if you don’t you may have a problem like I did as I was going down the road my rear tire came loose and forward and bent the axle in the rim had to cut it off and I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to

      09 on probably have 25mm axle, earlier bikes are 1 inch. I don't know whether the swingarms are different widths? If they're the same width then changing the wheel bearings to suit a 25mm axle might allow the use of this adjuster on older touring models.

    Did you say INUNDATED??? If you meant simply DATED, that would have been fine.... I nay case , the old system (DATED) is just fine. On my bike, I have the more complicated system which you advertise, and it's simply more of a PITA to re-align the rear wheel. With the old system, once you tighten the belt, Bob's your uncle, end of story...
