Anner Bylsma, the Dutch Casals. He is probably holding the 'cello with his knees in the Baroque/Rococo style and bowing in that style as well, with elbows lower than in the modern way as pioneered by Casals.
Does anyone understand the song of the birds? Classical music is like the song of birds. It is NOT necessary to understand it to enjoy it. I do not doubt that all the reporducciones of this video are of a single person this music does not tire
Yes, Mr. Bijlsma's intonation was not always perfect but I would much rather listen to his supreme artistry and musicianship than the endless army of colourless, boring, note perfect automatons any day.
One of the best and most natural interpretations I heard since years... Thank you!
My favourite, always, above all...
Lovely, thank you.
Concerto sempre bom de ouvir, especialmente com essa sonoridade "macia" de A.Bylsma.

Orchestra and conductor, please??
I would prefer just a bit of a slower tempo but Bylsma took the better of me when phrasing on the cello!

アルベルトシュバイッツァーのオルガンとかお好きですか!?
Wouldn't call Haydn Cello Concertos baroque, though the have some structural similarities with baroque concertos they're a whole different beast.
Buxtehude baroque?
Classical. Classic Classical, really!

The intonation is less than exemplary.
I disagree with you. This is in my opinion one of the best examples of intonation.
But, oh man, we all make mistakes.
