Great!!! I saw Tina Turner in concert around 1985 in Chattanooga, Tn. She was unbelievable.... running all over the stage and up steps in high heels. She had so much energy! Beautiful lady.
The "portable bathroom" is called a chamber pot; next to it was a wash basin, and on the table was a dishpan. The cabinet you saw is officially called a Hoosier cabinet, but my folks always called it a pie safe.
Tina Turner is The Woman! Such talent, strength, and beauty! Every time I learn something new about her I have renewed respect for her. May all girls strive to be like Tina Turner! Awesome vlog, Jordan - thank you!
There was a lot more to the Tina Turner and Bryan Adams story than meets the eye. Bryan supported her and helped her get on with her new life and away from Ike. It's a beautiful story
Thanks Jordan ! I don't think I ever met anyone who didn't love Tina Turner . My parents loved her, I got their album s after they passed on . My children & little tot grand kids love to listen to her too. She is the Queen 💙
I took my mom to see her during the Simply the Best tour. A very pregnant Cindy Lauper opened for Tina. One of the best concerts and I still have the tour book.
Went to a Tina Turner concert & man that lady can put on a show. She moved from the time she got on stage....& I mean danced. She gives an awesome performance. I was worn out watching her. I wish I could see her live again. She is some lady & one of my favorite singers & performers. I can't say enough about Tina Turner & her concert. That lady has some beautiful legs.......she is a beautiful person.
So true Murphy 1384 one can (especially the younger set like me) definitely be set up for a nap after watching Ms. Turner work out. I've seen her in concert a couple of times here in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada and have to say it's one of the best concerts I've ever seen. But What's Love Got to do with it-when it's Tina Turner, a consummate performer!
Thank you, Jordan, for vlogging Tina Turner's Museum. While I hope to one day get there myself, this was a good, close second. Tina is definitely a woman who has only gotten better with the years!
Great Vlog Jordan! Gotta love Tina! Her childhood church in Nutbush,Tn is now in Lebanon,Tn. Danny Evins' niece(founder of Cracker Barrel ) bought the church and moved it here, remodeled it and turned it into a home. Its beautiful!
What a great vlog Jordan! Tina is one of the greatest entertainers of our time. I've seen her in concert twice and was always energized when I left her concerts. I don't think I'll ever see her in concert again but I will always hold dearly the great performances I saw of her. Long live Tina Turner!
My husband is originally from Stanton/Dancyville/Brownsville, his family knew Tina’s family. Adams, Jones, Pruitt, Douglas, Qualls, Baskerville family. RIP Ana Mae!
I’m a city girl, born and raised way up north. The Haywood county area is a place I hold dear in my heart and would be very proud to call my home. I just love them country roads and the folks there are the nicest and most genuine people!❤️❤️❤️
I love museums so much and truly enjoyed this vlog. Thank you for sharing, Jordan! I miss travelling, but I’ll take your vlogs as a replacement any day.
Brilliant video as always Jordan. My mum was lucky enough to see tina turner in the street. Mum was on bond street in London in the early 1990s. Tina got out of a car with her then mother in law I think. Mum treasured the moment. Tina is an amazing and beautiful lady so talented ❤️
Great vlog. Love the museum and seeing the school where Tina Turner went to. She has amazing costumes. All the other exhibits are cool too. Best part of the Tina Turner is still alive and looking amazing at her age. Thank you for bringing us along. God bless you
I forgot to comment when I first watched this. You did such a great job. Tina was and is a force of nature. I love her so much and I wish I would have seen her in person. Thank you for bringing her story to life once again.
Hi Jordan, great that you found a free Museum. I always love the great costumes that are on display and the letter from Kensington Palace was nice aswell. Great vlog Jordan.
Thank you so much for this vlog...so great seeing where Tina went to school. I saw Tina Turner in concert back in the 1990's.....she is so entertaining, so energetic....just amazing!
Thank you so much for sharing this video I've been a fan of Tina Turner since I was a kid I sure miss her Rip my prayers go out to her family and friends and fans God bless 💕 😢 🙏
I was watching Finding your Roots w/ Tina Turner and they told her that one of her direct ancestors built that School house. it' s so cool that you got to go there
Wow.How I so remember going up and down the highways in my dad's 66' Caddillac,And his 66' Mustang convertible listening to, Ike and Tina Turner on 8 track. My God how time flys after 30-😳
I got to see Tina Turner in 2000. She was awesome. Lionel Richie went on before her. Best concert I have ever been to. This was in Louisville, Kentucky at Freedom Hall.

I love watching Tina Turner in performance. Didn't know there was a museum in her honor. So many of the names in this museum I recognize. My family played a lot of country music, when I was a child. Guitar was a favorite, ...
Who doesn't LOVE Tina Turner? The lady is a legend! Not only were the costumes and memorabilia phenomenal, but it was so cool to see her rustic one room school house. Excellent vlog all the way around, Jordan! Thank you!!!!
Thanks for this vlog on Tina. What an amazing woman. What's love got to do with it has always been my favorite song. I remember watching that video with my grandmother. She always said she has beautiful legs and I agree. One of the classy lady performer of all time.
Never knew much about Carl Perkins but his boyhood home was moved to my families home town of Tiptonville TN(my mom actually lived in it for a while). We stop and visit every trip like something change 🤣, just a nice stop to make for family history!
What a great video Jordan! Can't tell you how much I loved seeing everything in it. Love Tina! She has some of the best legs in the business! When she is dancing to Proud Mary...Wow! She gave us women the courage to walk out of abusive relationships! She is a strong woman! That ex of hers thought he was everything when in fact it was her!! She is a treasure, Jordan! Awesome vlog!!!
Great job, Jordan. I first saw Tina on the old Ed Sullivan Show, what an amazing performer. And she sure had awesome legs. Legs that never stopped moving. Tina went thru some tough times and prevailed.
In the '60s, I recalled seeing the announcement sign of Ike & Tina Turner as the were to perform in my small hometown in CA. In this video, as you were asking Elvis to say something, I thought I heard him say "you ain't nothing but a houndog"! But then it was more like: Thank you, thank you, thank you (for this video).😁😆😄😂
Great vlog Tina one of the big music stars so much talent I was at one of her shows in Dublin Ireland meny years ago she is very loved here she looked lovely and a wonderful show never to be forgotten I am so happy for her that she has a happy life now with her husband thanks Jordan for this vlog Sending Lots of Love Jordan and Hi to all Lionheart's keep safe Marie Dublin Ireland
Thanks for this. I wanted to say I was just listening to your latest live video about visiting your grandpa and it is so great you are doing that. He needs interaction with others to help keep his mind right. I found that out with my mom. Also I saw a vlog where you were visiting places around your hometown with him and you showed a bench in front of an old store. I hope you got a picture of him sitting on it. Keep well and stay safe.
Another fantastic vlog! My dad inherited a house like Sleepy John’s - built in 1911. I guess back in the day, working folks could only afford a place just large enough to sleep in.
Cool vlog. Meet Tina on the film set in downtown LA. She was really nice. Use to see Ike at my nieghborhood gas station at Lankershim/Oxnard when we lived in North Hollywood. I think a AT&T sets there now.
Brett Scallions the lead singer for Fuel is from Brownsville. Carl Bell & Jeff Abercrombie are from Kenton, Tennessee. That is the reason for the display about Fuel. My husband went to school with Carl Bell. He is a great guy and it is a shame the group split up.
Grew up in Memphis and was born in Dyersburg (which isn't to far from where you are). ((My grandma was born in Brownsville). Just a cpl random tidbits for ya! Thanks Jordan. Wish I had known you were going there.
When your video starts and your driving, the hills and railroad track on your right, are pretty much (a few blocks back) where U2 filmed some scenes for the song "Heartland" on the Rattle and Hum movie. Among other Memphis locations. I randomly had lunch next to Ike Turner, in 1995. We exchanged a quick nod.
Thank you so much for your time. I felt a little sadness for the conditions they lived in during that time. I guess you just had to make do. Save travels.

John Sabastian wrote a song called NASHVILLE CATS back when he was in the Lovin' Spoonful. So it's probably his guitar.
