Pat, please keep uploading via RUclips, not everyone is on Twitch (I'm not). Purchased everything you offer through Bandcamp and don't want to miss anything that you will create in the future. Your music is very special and losing that would be terrible. Please stay with us here.
Oh I intend to, I'm not sure why some are assuming content is going to stop or slow down here, I've only moved to Twitch for my improvising/practicing/messing around live stuff. Content has been a bit slower, but not because of the Twitch switch, I've just been a little behind on everything. Regular produced videos will continue here and I intend to grab more highlights from Twitch, in fact those will probably increase (another due tonight already)
Even low audio buffer sounds better than almost anything around. And even the experimental stuff sound like polished tracks. Listening while working and it’s really gorgeous.
Jesus, this is breathtakingly beautiful. We play one of your other videos every single night to relax before bed. This is uniquely mesmerising. You have such a gift.
My Focals are doing your gorgeous composition justice. Unbelievable sub bass. Clean and tight and rumbling. Everything else is distinctly layered, one on top of the other, just as you have it laid out in Bitwig. Bliss. Thank you.
Hi, I just discovered your channel and what you are creating is really the type of music I want to do either. What you make is....ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS...I love your melodies and style...REALLY ! I wonder how do you create all those very lush beautiful pads from scratch ? Like the first Kontakt patch it's so awesome do you mostly use presets ?
You are a true master State Azure!,...even when you browse for presets it sounds good!,....when i do, it´ sounds more like a multiple car collision? -),.....is the kick´ a sample from Electron ?
I'm not sure about the kick, it's from my Venus Theory drum machine preset that I created. Venus Theory is another producer who released a free pack of percussion sounds etc a while ago, so this particular assortment of drums comes from him, mostly.
@@stateazure I'm really envious of all the gear even though I have no idea what any of it does. I'm sure my home would be immeasurably improved if I had a room kitted out with something like that even if all I did was watch the pretty flashing lights.
They were a free collection of drum samples he made quite a while ago, I can't remember exactly which video it was where he mentioned and linked them though.
i'm wondering if you stream bitwig studio on twitch how to do that because i used obs studio for stream games but i couldn't figure it out how to catch the sound of my software ! it doesn't work
Hi Nastasia. My audio interface allows me to set certain audio channels to loopback, which then are able to be captured, maybe see if you also have that option. I do believe there are other ways to do it using software loopback though, but it's something you'd have to google as it's a long time since I tried this using software options, but there are ways!
@@Timespacefractal Oh, thanks :) I don't have a Push 3 though, nor is Ableton Live my main DAW! You're probably thinking of the other bearded fellow :)
Studio filled with hardware ....tons of it .... and you keep playing with soft synths we've seen and heard a thousand times ( and are pushing your computer to the max in case you have not noticed the hiccups) . So in terms of exceptional, sorry I disagree. We need CHANGE here.
High CPU usage was because I was running very low buffer settings, on top of this livestream recordings are being done in real time on the same computer via OBS, I mentioned this in the description and it's actually pretty rare to get glitches like this otherwise. Improvising and composing new tracks like this in real time at this rate of speed wouldn't be possible with the hardware, I need to be able to choose instruments and audition sounds, drums, FX etc FAST, this workflow is not possible with hardware, it's just too slow and inconvenient, since I also have to move from the hardware synths back to my main desk all the time with each improvised recording. Adding or exchanging certain software sounds later for hardware can be done later outside of the creative period, but not during, to avoid the creative process being interrupted negatively by technical problems. Also, I never mentioned anything being 'exceptional' - I'm not sure where you think you read this. Besides all of this, soft synths or hardware synths, it really doesn't matter, it's what you create with them and most soft synths these days sounds just as good as hardware with a few exceptions. I share these videos are for people that are interested in the process by which I create tracks from scratch, from a blank slate. People can follow along and see which synths and FX I use and maybe learn something from the process.
@@stateazure you don't have to explain yourself to anyone mate. You do you! If he doesn't like it he can click away at any time. No one is forcing him to listen.

What is the instrument playing at the start? The main pad. Is it another instance of choreographs or something else?
