Such a fun movie clip. Elvis hair color was natural in Kid Gallahad and Follow that Dream and it makes him look younger. I think Elvis and Chubby Checker were the only two people that could do the twist and still look cool!!!

I was 7 when I discovered Elvis in 1972. One of the first records I bought was the I Got Lucky LP. Although some of his material from the 60s wasn't great, there were a number of gems like this one. Boots Randolf, Jerry Reed, Floyd Cramer, Chet Atkins, were just a few of the legendary musicians Elvis worked with during this time. I remember an interview where Julie Andrews had said that Elvis's voice from the early 60s was as near to perfect as she'd ever heard.

Thanks John yet another great reaction on a song released as just part of a best selling EP. As others have said Charles Bronson was in first scene and as I understand was not too impressed with Elvis, whatever that meant. I spliced this track on one of my Elvis DVD's with another song Marguerita (which you would enjoy) from the film 'Fun in Acapulco' but after this video perhaps I should find room for the whole track.😊😊

This is such a feel good song, from his movie “ Kid Galahad “. A 1962 movie, Elvis was 27 years old. Wowww. This was a very good movie, the actor Charles Bronson was in it also, Gig Young. John would you react to Elvis song “ You’ll Think of Me “? I wanted you to listen to an instrument in that song. It took me a long time to find out what that instrument is. Finally, a while back I asked one of my musician friends and he knew. It is a Sitar. It is such a beautiful sounding instrument. Such an unusual, different beautiful sound the Sitar makes.
