This was my last ride for the day of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk looff carousel but this isn’t my last ride for good they’ll still be more videos coming up of this carousel which will be coming soon.
Hey Max I've got a question for you. On this 1911 Looff carousel the inner rounding boards inside the riding platform that rotate around the center pole, the lower section are mirrored, but the upper section seem to have paintings of different parts of the SCBB. Was it always this way, or were the upper panels also mirrored at one time??? Been riding this carousel since the early 60's but i don't remember! 👍🎠
Not gonna lie, you could barely hear the music during the carousel ride sometimes. It’s understandable though because the band organs are covered in glass. Furthermore, people on the outer end horses are grabbing and throwing rings as well.
@@maxchaos6319 Selections from Carmen and Tarantella Norttuna during the carousel ride. When I was on the carousel however, The Wurlitzer 165’s At the Balalaika song cover wasn’t heard that well either because it spun during that time.
@@maxchaos6319Yes. Selections from Carmen and Tarantella Nortturna were played once you were on the carousel in this video. I understand because the carousel spun in addition to the outer end riders playing the ride’s ring game.

I believe the middle part of the carousel building has mirrors.

My uncle has ridden the outside row red horse before! I recommended him that one since his favorite color is red!
