Very accurate. This was the slowest “speed” golf I’ve ever seen. I think this should be a draw, bc Grant played his regular pace and Garrett actually tried to speed through.
What, you're suggesting that grant waiting to get to his ball to put the glove back on?? and taking 3 practice swings after discussing yardage and club selection was not speed golf??? BLASPHEMY
Would love to see this as a good good video! Stups vs twigs starting on different 9’s. Birdies take away 30 seconds eagles take off a min while bogeys add 30 seconds and doubles would add a minute. Team with the lowest time wins! Feel teams would need to find a balance between rushing for time and shooting well!
So glad to see these boys doing something fun and light hearted. They've been grinding for such a long time. They deserve the fun! Love that Grant still analyzes as he speeds!😆
Interesting video, guys. By the way, I'm one of those "old guys" (62), you were talking about who tees off at day break and is done 18 holes before anyone else shows up. In a cart, it takes me around 30 minutes to play 9 holes, but I have done it in 23 minutes. Walking and carrying my clubs takes about 45-50 minutes with no one in front of me. I really don't hurry, but I never take practice swings, hardly ever miss fairways, and don't line up putts (I know the greens by heart), and manage to shoot around par. Love your videos.
My fastest round ever was four minutes. Took three to get a cart around to the tee box. 45 seconds eluding to three missed swings and then a 15 second walk back to my car. Was a tough day
My take from this is Grant doesn't get fast-paced golf (can't call it speed golf as that's an entirely different category). He took his glove off after every shot and as the cart slid to a stop at his ball, he starts putting the glove back on. Meanwhile, Garrett hardly ever took his glove off. I have a standing weekday tee time where I'm the 1st one out and 95% of the time go out as a single. With a cart I typically play 18 in 2 hours but it's not nearly as rushed as in this video. It's the absolute way golf should be played - hell is a teeing off mid-morning on a weekend when a 5-hour round is all but guaranteed. No need to run or even feel rushed, but play with purpose! Love this entire series: great golf, great banter, amazing video/editing. Top-notch...keep it up!!!
Let’s go! Grant and Garrett next weekend is the Speedgolf US Championships in Springfield MO, come join us! Last year I played round 1 - 18 holes in 38 minutes and shot 72 with 5 clubs and no cart!!! Please share with me the original video you referenced where you were running! I’d love to watch it!
8:46 I am that older gentleman {60} doing 18 in 2 hours. Played 16 new courses in the past 6 weeks! Started last Oct. Watch these vids on 1.5 speed lol Yeah, I am addicted to speed golf!
Rider ! Brother !! The angle AND the tracer at 7:20 is/was outstanding ! We might not see the exact shape but the angle to see the arch !? .. exquisite. ... It's the simple things man 👍
I think a good way to do this, especially with the shared cart, would be two available points per hole. One point for the lowest score on the hole, and one point for the least amount of time to finish the hole, with the timer only starting when it's your turn (for example, when the cart arrives to Grant's ball, Grant's timer starts. Then once the ball is in the air, his timer is paused. You'd have to figure out a way to do tee shots, but honestly, I wouldn't even include tee shots as part of the time.
Wikipedia : The official Guinness record was shot by professional Christopher Smith at the Chicago Speedgolf Classic at Jackson Park Golf Course on October 16, 2005. Smith shot 65 in just 44:06 while carrying six clubs
My father in law plays in under 2 hours in the mornings with a friend of his and they walk, it’s impressive how quick you can play with nobody in your way 🇨🇦
I think you could go much faster. Some ideas: 1. Each person has their own cart 2 Each person has their own spotter waiting by there ball with the distance 3. Someone riding on the back of the cart to put away clubs and hand them out 4. Each person has a cart driver 5. Cart driver tees up ball at each hole Brainstorm everything you can think of that someone could do for you to save time so the person playing steps out of the cart and hits immediately
love the content gents! That said, I have to say I don't think speed golf if my favourite - I love to see you guys play your best, and taking your time help with that I think. That said nbd and appreciate the video anyways!
This was really fun to watch guys, and I have to say that you both played a bit more freely in your swings....hit some really good shots. i guess that goes to show that the game of golf is made harder by our own thoughts between shots.
Garrett did this right and knew he was trying to push content and creativity… Grant can’t take his focus off playing good and winning. Should have been no practice swings, no hesitation and yardage decisions
Would love to see you guys do an 18-hole scramble with a time limit and see how you score. Scramble should cut down the time of having to take a bad shot and make something work and if one goes OB or gonna take a while to find a ball it doesn’t matter as long as one is in play and quick to get to and play from. I feel like you guys could easily beat the 45 min mark on 9 holes in comparison to this vid which makes me think less than 90 min for a full 18 is doable and shoot as low as possible!
Good to see you play my old home course used to live on hole #5 at the 150 in mark Grant played well Garrett had another shot I have never seen hitting tree on 9 crazy
Once finished a round in about 1 minute. Walked up to #1 tee, duck hooked it into the trees, walked back to the truck and left. Just wasn't the right day
Ryder editing this to make it not look like Grant is just playing his normal pace while Garrett out here actually playing Steve (speed) golf.
This is so good haha
Grant knows one speed lmao
Very accurate. This was the slowest “speed” golf I’ve ever seen. I think this should be a draw, bc Grant played his regular pace and Garrett actually tried to speed through.

This is the best idea I have seen in a while.
Amazing idea
100% that'd be awesome. Regular speed golf is low key boring but this type of comp would be awesome content.
Such a good idea, that video would be sooo epic
Absolutely this.
I love how Ryder used slow piano music between holes as a contrast. The course is quiet and calm, Grant and Garrett are the ones rushing it :)
Grant: “9 x 5 = 45. Right there - boom!”
Garrett: “Really?”
Grant: “Yea!”
Garrett: “Dude, that’s good math.”
Grant: “That’s insane.”
Maths masterclass Sir :D
Its amazing how bad kids have gotten at math over the years.
haha lot to be said for those multiplication tables we had to learn by rote in the old days..handy life skill to have.
😂 You don’t need to understand a high level of math for golf so these guys are going to be just fine.
@@ATerminalJunkie it’s really just an American thing tbh
The Shot tracer from the side angle on hole 4 was insanely cool
Garret: I really wanna finish these last couple holes in time.
Also Garret: Imma need to see that 1-inch putt.
Well he was playing against the lip out king 😂
I bet Steve's no-nonsense swing set up would make him great at this type of challenge! Tons of fun and still solid golf.
I agree, Steve and bubby on a good day could do sub 35 lol
@@drfalcon31 last I knew bubbie had to fight his tics and it takes him the longest out of good good to hit
@@tristansall he does, but this is a very freeing way to play golf and his competitive nature is second to none.

"9 times 5, that's 45"
"Whoa! That's good math" - Garrett
Good thing G Rat decided to forego college.
This subconsciously made me speed up everything I’m doing😂
Grant and Garrett, you guys are amazing. Always make the best content. Keep it up!
Let’s go! Grant and Garrett next weekend is the Speedgolf US Championships in Springfield MO, come join us! Last year I played round 1 - 18 holes in 38 minutes and shot 72 with 5 clubs and no cart!!!

I was really expecting running with the bag...so funny to see them jump in a cart immediately :D!!! Love the video
Garett was playing speed golf, grant was playing golf 😂 .. still love ya grant .. love the PineHurst content boys 🤙🏻
Should I be doing something productive? Yes. Am I watching another Garrett and Grant round instead? Yes. Keep up the great content!
8:46 I am that older gentleman {60} doing 18 in 2 hours. Played 16 new courses in the past 6 weeks! Started last Oct. Watch these vids on 1.5 speed lol Yeah, I am addicted to speed golf!
Ryder McSlider Berryyyyyy....the Grantisms were rampant in this video, I loved it!!
Ryders editing is the best “GRAUNT” and the gospel music at the end 😂
Rider ! Brother !!

Grant running is the funniest thing
Entertaining and fun match to watch. It helped the experience having the shot tracer forn the approach shots. Keep up the good work.
Editing makes this video. So good to keep the sense of urgency the entire video
Love the team work. Slow and smooth and smooth is fast

“That’s good math” 😂😂
7:20 loved that tracer
I actually really enjoyed this concept for a video, switched it up a little bit! Thanks for grinding fellas, including you Ryder!!! 🙌🏼
Need to do it again but with a shot clock for Grant lol
Who remembers speed golf at the Junior course?! Good times!!
Wikipedia : The official Guinness record was shot by professional Christopher Smith at the Chicago Speedgolf Classic at Jackson Park Golf Course on October 16, 2005. Smith shot 65 in just 44:06 while carrying six clubs
That’s it
I thought it would be better idk
Its always so fun watching you guys!! Thank you for the content!!
My father in law plays in under 2 hours in the mornings with a friend of his and they walk, it’s impressive how quick you can play with nobody in your way 🇨🇦
🇨🇦 🇨🇦🇨🇦
And not searching for balls.
What he actually meant is in Canada we have 2 hours of summer, so we have to golf quick. 🍁
It would be interesting to see the full uncut version
Tell Grant to just keep his glove on haha
The fan base is fired up back to back videos. And I’m not even gonna lie …GC 😂😂
Watching from my recliner…..and for some reason, I’m out of breath!! :). Good job on the quick 9.
That was a good match, I watched this on my lunch break so it was worth it

Gront 3:50 “I can’t get my shaft in”
Hey Grant! It's speed golf!! Lol out there taking practice swings!! Smh
The tree on the last hole lmfao
GM GOLF vids will never get old!!!
I love this content! Just a suggestion though...don't count the time it takes to get from green to tee?
what grant said at 3:50, i felt that
"I'm getting my buttcheeks ran" I'm dead xD
Grant: "Garrett let me get my shaft in!"
love the content gents! That said, I have to say I don't think speed golf if my favourite - I love to see you guys play your best, and taking your time help with that I think. That said nbd and appreciate the video anyways!
Garett taking a brovisional on the last hole, one of us
You can tell Garrett is trying to speed grant up the first few holes 😂😂
"Mission Failed. We'll get em next time."
“I can’t get my shaft in” lmao
2:24 "dude thats good math."
“Dude, that’s good math” 😂
5:10 Grants HR higher than the gas prices
grants face in the thumbnail 😂😂😂😂
Grants shot at 12:19 is one of the worst things about golf lol absolutely perfect line, short.
as someone who speedruns video games this is a dope concept. golf speedrun.
"Dude, that's good math"" had me cracking uop
Garrett actually trying to get done in time while watching Grant take practice swings and then has to say he’s losing is hard to watch
When an ad came on during this video I was like "Not now! We're on the clock!"
grant doesn’t understand the concept of speed golf 😂
9:44 AYOOO👀👀👀👀

Speed Rat and Speed Flawda Man attempt to break world records 😈
this is actually a really good concept. probably even more entertaining to actually take part in
you two are electric together. hilarious!
I love videos like this where Garretts just inhaling an armies supply of copium, makes me laugh so much.
These two are the most entertaining!! Of all GM Golf !!
Love the speed golf
That creepy face grant has on the thumbnail 🤣
it would be epic to see you guys race 🏁 both have a cart and 3 2 1 go and see who finishes first and who gets the best score
I was eating during the video, and caught myself eating way faster than normal haha x)
You guys rushing apparently made me rush my eating 🤷♂
Now this is my kind of stuff! Was the first one out and broke my course’s speed record this summer. 18 holes in an hour and 9 minutes for a smooth 84.
Would love to see you guys do an 18-hole scramble with a time limit and see how you score. Scramble should cut down the time of having to take a bad shot and make something work and if one goes OB or gonna take a while to find a ball it doesn’t matter as long as one is in play and quick to get to and play from. I love Grant but I swear he seems like the type of dude that can’t dribble a basketball 😂
Speed Golf!! Hahahaha NO this was slightly quicker than normal golf, funny!
Grant just taking his time playing normal golf... Garrett ⛳ 🏌🏃
Garrett: “9 x 5 is 45”
Grant: “Dude! That’s insane math!”
🤣🤣🤣
This was freaking awesome! Thanks for the laughs GG!
Just wasn't the right day
We need to see more of this
this truly shows how slow a golfer grant is
Really cool idea to change your mindset
Wtf with that white van almost on the cart path @10:31...you guys on the course or the side street lol
Grant: "Five minutes, nine holes that's 45." Garrett: "Thats good math!" Hilarious.
This is the slowest “speed” golf I’ve ever seen 😂
Loved the video, can’t wait to see the next speed run
Out here play like Steve 😂
Grant; "9x5 is 45"
Garrett, "Dude that's good math"
Yeah for 2nd grade lol
Lost 5 minutes waiting on Grant to put his glove on everytime
Thought the same thing....
Normal pace for the average person with a family or job and has things to do. These guys just chill on the golf course.
Steve would be insane at this challenge!
I really enjoyed this, would definitely love to see more. Maybe just with 1 club so it is faster and more difficult.
There are guys at one of my local courses who play with one club and run between every shot, so many different ways to enjoy the game
