This was a fairly interesting collection. At first it seemed as if it was channeling 1980s futurism harkening to 80s sci-fi films, culture club/Thompson Twins, & a sprinkling of Grace Jones with the over exaggerated collard jackets and chunky footwear. Then the change occurred the almost theatrical change that announced the second half of the collection this part of the collection was giving us a very feministic interpretation of traditional men's attire. I was very charmed by the ruffled collars, the wrap front tailored blouse, and slacks that exsensuated the silhouette of feminine curvaceousness the outfits gave to the models...well done.
I find this absolutely comical. But art is subjective. So I should say hmmm...interesting.But I couldn't because I am in hysterics of laughter. Wow!!! Bring it back down to earth people! After the comedy in the begining.. the drama kicked in and was able to appreciate the designs.
There’s literally expensive fashion brands serving you ready-to-wear like it’s couture. Sit down. Find them boring runways cause they’re prevalent and haven’t gone anywhere.
Viktor & Rolf were going to name this collection “ReDynasty - Haute,” but in the end, they went with the Chicago Collection (for the “City of Big Shoulders”) 😂😂
At least this is innovative and pushing at boundaries. While it may not be my favorite Haute Couture collection, I'll take this over the ready to wear clothes some well established houses sent down the runway under the false label of Haute Couture. Thank you for taking the risk and honoring the meaning of the title these clothes are meant to be! Besides I couldn't imagine patterning and sewing those clothes. Great job to the designer.

Elements of this show - such as oversized suit jackets - will be taken by other designers and those who design for high street stores and will make a wearable version that ordinary women will wear.

The first half was ridiculous, every model was overwhelmed by the volume. But it made the second half silhouettes look almost wearable.
