There are too many expensive things like this out there, that don't even seem appetizing to me. I'm very glad you try these and share, I trust you guys! You made me hungry once again Brother! NINJA APPROVED!!! KFTM!
As a Korean, we never use high quality bamboo salt for cooking, only for medicinal purposes. I recommend you trying a couple of flakes and let it dissolve completely in your mouth next time you have a sore throat or allergies. Thanks for the video!
Awesome! The idea was to test it up and see, but you are right, even though it does the job much more will be needed to get it to the right flavors. Thanks for the advise! 😀
@@SaltyTales It would be really interesting if you tried using “Doenjang” which is a Korean miso Paste. It’s has a more deeper, briny flavor than regular miso. Could be good using it for a dry age for a couple of days!
My girlfriend was telling me about this salt a couple of months ago and I was sad because it's so expensive. But, I don't feel so bad now that I know it's not so good to cook with. I will stick with Badia black truffle salt. To me, it gives the absolute best flavor and I use it on everything! I bought a case of it because I love it so much! I also bought that much because my local grocery stores quit selling it and I have to order it online. Sorry for babbling. You guys are the best! Much love to both of you! Keep the videos coming, I learn a lot watching them. See you next time!
I love that foodie-ism has gotten to the point where we’re actually thinking of Maldon salt as a control salt. There’s a poetry to it, given that, while Maldon is seen as sort of a fancy sea salt, the hard-working people of Essex who harvest it are kind of the definition of “salt of the earth”.
I'm always hungry. I love steak & eggs, so I was hoping that the steak would have a little egg flavour! 😋 I am getting some Himalayan salt this week, so I'm glad you recommend it! I wonder what that Korean salt is best used with! 🤔 Therr must be a reason why they go to so much effort to make it! I also wonder what you was doing with makeup on!💄😂
Thanks for the tip Ninja, I’ll spend the extra $30 on the 🥩. As for the smell, some rice & beans or broccoli to go along with the steak & you got free fart smell.
LOL yeah man! The smell is the worst part of it and the fact that is doesn't really add a lot to the table is another negative about it... But it was fun as heck! 😀😀😀
Expensive, smells like farts and doesn’t taste good. I think I’ll pass. Thanks for taking one for the team. Now like ninja put some regular salt on those steaks and enjoy.
So, you realize that all salt is sea salt, right? No matter how high up on a mountain it originates, it came to be by lakes and oceans receding and drying up, leaving the mineral deposits behind.
@@SaltyTales Years, Mr Ninja, I understand. 😀 I was just making the general, quasi-smartassed remark that no matter where salt comes from, Himalayas or Nevada salt flats, it's all sea salt. 😀
Not that I was planning on it, but won't be buying that salt! But I wonder what it would be good for. At least on the cooking/food side, if not healing or whatever else it's supposed to do - beside lighten your wallet!
@@SaltyTales Exactly! But it must be good for something, since it apparently sells. Unless the only thing it's actually good for is to buy and make RUclips videos about it! 🤣
Classic Rip-off. Salt with a sulfur taste(that egg yolk smell) is nothing special at all. For example there is Kala Namak, that can also be a bit red, black or grey. Pretty cheap stuff.

Yet another great video, Ninja!! You’re the best RUclipsr around!! Keep up the awesome work! What brand of Kamado grill is that!?!
Thank you so much brother! Appreciate the support a lot! That is a Louisiana grill!
@@SaltyTales, nice! I just got a Kamado from SNS Grills…I’ve been testing it and playing around with it and so far, I love its versatility.
I haven’t ply those those but I’ve heard they are great!
When u making a video with guga!?? Or is that out of the question?
I have no idea but I like to always leave the doors opened.

MAKING ME HUNGRY EVERY TIME BROTHER!!!
Working in opening that appetite brother! 😀😀😀
You should try vegeta seasoning I’m from Bosnia that’s what we use on all meats
Never heard of it! Searching for it now!
Órale. Choutout shair is back!!! Put Manny in.
LOL Manny is in! 😂😂😂
Ever ate balut? When they bury an half developed egg. It's an asian thing had to try when in the Philippines like I had to try vegimite in Australia
Never had it but i’ve heard a lot of stories about it! I don’t like eggs but will make an exemption for balut! 😀😀
looks AMAZING!
THANKS BROTHER!
Suck it up Buttercup 🤣
😂😂😂😂
At that price I won't be throwing any over my shoulder for good luck I will have to keep some regular table salt in my pocket for that. 😃😃
LOL I know man! Those prices are high but there is also a lot of work involved in making this salt... So it is a matter of if you like it or not.. 😀😀
Interesting one. Not going to buy some fart salt. Great video sir.
🤣🤣……Thanks Whisky lovers! 👊🏻
Maldon is great!

Salt should taste like salt. No need to add stuff to it and drive the price up.
Agreed!

Lol yeah man… it was a weird experience!! 😀🤣
It's meat to be used as a supplement not cooking. The best high quality that's used for cooking is Redman Real Salt.
Have to try it!
Made me hungry for the Maldon.
LOL heck yeah!
There's a big difference between bamboo salt and purple bamboo salt. The purple bamboo salt smells like farts and the plain bamboo salt doesn't.
Damn i pay 200 per ounce of weed😜😂
Lol this one is cheaper! 🤣🤣🤣
Nija esa sal hiede de verdad a peo... Nosotro compramos y creeme que lleno la casa de ese bajooo.
LOL Si man! esa cosa es peligrosa!!! 😀😀😀
So, you realize that all salt is sea salt, right? No matter how high up on a mountain it originates, it came to be by lakes and oceans receding and drying up, leaving the mineral deposits behind.
I think you are talking about Himalayan salt. This one is sea salt baked in a kiln 9 times at thousands of degrees within bamboo trunks.
