    The crazy thing is Rose's children said they were more afraid of her than they were of Fred! That says something! She was brutal to her children. The kids talked about never feeling any kind of love from her. She killed Charmaine and then when the child's mother came looking for her, she killed her too! That woman is horrific! Fred raped his own children. He didn't rape the children Rose had while she was prostituting. She had three children who were by her clients and Fred left those children alone sexually because they weren't his. Hearing her daughters talk about what they went through was completely soul shattering. You wish you could go back in time and make things better for them. It's so sad. Rose never protected any of her children from rape, emotional abuse or physical abuse! She was just as horrific as Fred.

    one thing they didn’t mention is Lake and Ng were selling snuff films and also involved in the manufacturing and selling of meth. neither of them had jobs but they did have disposable income to build a bunker. Also the cops let Cricket go back to the Wellsyville property before they got the warrant and destroy numerous boxes of video tapes/evidence that implicated her involvement. She was also a substitute teacher and is on video talking about how she would like to “do things” with the teens at her school of employement. The cops still gave her full immunity. Anybody interested in this case should read Programmed to Kill by David McGowan

      It's nice to see I'm not the one one who was shocked to see these details were left out. She was sick too, she was just as guilty as them and just as evil and dangerous. Unreal they gave her immunity and unreal the FBI or even SBI wasn't aware of these men who were serious drug traffickers and snuff film producers. Usually those are the kinds of people pegged uo on a board to be watched yet these moved in silence.

    They killed her husband and baby and then took her and tortured, raped, and murdered her for weeks?? Ahhhh HELL NO! I think I would have wanted them to kill me at that point. I mean…her husband and BABY! What that women went thru isn’t even humanly describable.

      She was. She was in some of the videos, many actually and the police allowed her to get back into the scene somehow and she was able to steal and then destroy quite a bit of evidence and many tapes she was on. They still had some though. She was on tape saying how badly she wanted to do some of the things they were doing to someone on camera, to the students at the school where she worked. She was just as sick as them. She helped them torture and rape countless women and even helped taunt that woman whose baby and husband were brutally killed before she was held, tortured, starved, raped and eventually killed after weeks. She was sick, she was evil and she deserved to rot in prison too. Idk how tf they gave her a deal. They had her cold but claimed they "needed" her testimony. Bullshit. Also, she helped them make, produce and sell snuff films and methamphetamine. Idk why they didn't mention this.

      If she hadn't been allowed to go to the cabin ahead of the cops, where she likely cleaned up some, more victims' remains might have been found and identified.

      One reason it took so long (not mentioned here) is that Canada has a law preventing the extradition of anyone who might face the death penalty in another country, and IIRC (from the excellent video "The Boneyard") it took several years to finally work around it.

    Anybody else notice how she said Fred "lost his virginity" to his mother, but Rose was raped by her father?

    • @LierinLindquist
      @LierinLindquist 9 месяцев назад +6

      Yup, big problem there. Rape is rape yet these professors make it sound as if Fred had a choice where as Rose did not. That's not true or right. He was raped by mother just as rose was raped by father. I have a hard time believing Fred though, not because he's a man, but because he lied so often and changed his story about everything so constantly. His own siblings said it wasn't true though I'd assume they wouldn't want the world to know if it were. I don't know if I believe Rose either, same with her siblings and what they said occurred growing up too, they deny it all. Some people will lie about that to almost seem as if it's an excuse or reason for the things they did and hoping it gets them a more lenient sentence. Who knows though, 1 thing for sure and 2 for certain, they were bith 10 different kinds of crazy and sick individuals.

    So when Fred is raped as a kid, it's "losing his virginity". When Rose is raped as a kid, it is rape.
    Weird how the female narrator is constantly making remarks like this and showing her true colors. Shouldn't even be on the show tbh.

    There is no electric chair in California. The death penalty in California was carried out using a gas chamber or, more recently, lethal injection. The gas chamber at San Quentin was disassembled in 2019.

      Correlation doesn't equal causation. It's important to show the patterns that a lot of these predators have in order to see what's similar and if anything can be learned about their past that affected their behaviors. A lot of people have mental disorders and/or tragic upbringings, but the right mix of the wrong things can create a dangerous person.
