What was said about 'Crossroads' and the acting, it is unfounded, the acting here between Noele Gordon & Jane Rossington was superb, they (the series) chose not to show a funeral but do this wonderful scene instead, sometimes a few words convey more than anything else, 'Crossroads' just got better and better over the years, then they do the strangest thing and got rid of it's leading lady Noele Gordon. 'Crossroads' after she was written out was like some of those episodes of 'Murder She Wrote' (when Angela Lansbury appeared only at the beginning of an episode and at the very end), it didn't work and wasn't the same. With 'Crossroads' none of us cared there weren't many motel's in the UK, we just accepted 'Meg's World' and loved every minute of it. We only had three soaps then 'Coronation Street', 'Crossroads' and 'Emmerdale Farm', but all three were true family shows and a joy to watch. Sadly they used Noele Gordon (Meg Richardson) less and less, Meg's working relationship with David Hunter hitting an all time low, after he tries to sell the motel from under her, and combined with Sandy's passing, Meg decides motel life is no longer for her. Thank you for sharing this lovely scene from 'Crossroads'.
