Thunder Dan is soooooo underrated as a player. He was one of the original three point bombers and would routinely make shots no one else would take let alone make.
Dan Majerle is an amazing coach, running an amazing program. Suns were stupid to pass up on him. Congrat's Keonta! I think Patrick and Majerle need a rematch in front of the fans at GCU!
I have a funny personal story about him. Back in the 1990s, hmmmmm Summer of 1993 to be exact, my family and I did a vacation cruise to the Caribbeans. This was when Majerle was at his prime and killing it with Barkley, etc... My sister had the biggest crush on him and out of luck he happened to be on the same cruise with us. When she found out she did everything to spot him. Finally, she saw him on the ship and got a picture taken with him. Keep in mind this was back when disposable cameras were the primary source of picture taken. Well about a week later after she got the camera roll developed it turned out to be a bust! She was clearly visible in the picture but the lighting on Dan was so bad that it cast an entire shadow over him. Let's just say she was bummed!!!
