Any older Ford is a good bet, especially a warmed up version. People love them and have great memories of them from days gone by. Loads of st170s were scrapped for basically nothing so the end result is they are now quite rare. Most are now in the hands of enthusiasts - some requiring work, others in mint condition. Cars generally in my view should not be viewed as investments. Best to get one you like driving and get as many miles on it as possible. If you’re up at the end of the day you’ve had a result. Excellent work, fella! I've been really enjoying this series, and it's given me the confidence to drop my own back end (ooh err!) and refurbish.... I've always found the Mr Arc family of welders to be complete c¿nt$....always unhelpfully blowing large holes in things at the slightest provocation. The Mr Mig family, on the other hand, are much more congenial, generally much easier to work with, and true gentlemen...something to think about, maybe. Your editing and production skills are pretty good, considering you're using an iPhone, and I predict good things for you on RUclips. Thanks.
Thanks for the kind comments and advice. I’d like to think the welding would go better with Mig but I strongly suspect with my skills it would allow me to burn a much bigger hole 😆 Never actually tried mig so you never know. Thanks again for watching!
Hi not sure. The ones here in the UK should have 171 or 172 bhp if it’s running properly. If it’s a bit down on power it may have a minor fault with the IMRC unit or something?

why this motor have 170 hp ? in argentina focus they have 145 hp
