You can adjust Leslie from options: ovd gain, ovd level, speed, brake, fall acceleration, rise acceleration, slow rate, fast rate, depth. Some of them are asigned to the knobs so you can control what you want in real time. I've just read the pdf manual. :P
organ timbre is too "clean" and lacks of obertones ,sound more like vox/farfisa combo organs , rather then hammond. I like to have more "rocky" sound, with a lot of growl. is that possible to create with this instrument?
The thing about casios organ sounds is that the rotary sound needs to be reworked because the organ needs the drum sound the bottom part of the Leslie speaker that's spins I obviously no this because I'm an organ player if they rework that I still won't buy it but they got a lot of work to do.
Needy much? :). You're right about the Leslie effect. Casio has implemented a "proper" dual-rotor Leslie effect in the newer MZ-X models but I don't really know how it sounds. Most people who care use an outboard rotary speaker effect.
From this demo, the organ doesn't seem to sound as good as the Leslie sound on the Yamaha Motif based synths like the MX49, MOX6, and MOXF6. That said, for the price of this XW-P1 you are getting a ton of features like the sequencer, and 6 oscillator synth capabilities. Well done.
I think the organ can sound very good, but this "organ demo" is really bad... It's not treating the sounds "as an organ" - BTW Maybe using a rotary/leslie effects pedal and an amp simulator/overdrive pedal should get it sounding very good! (INSTEAD OF ONBOARD FX)
Why? I own several top notch stage pianos/synths/workstation. The Casio XW-P1 is in my opinion a very versatile cheap easy to carry performance keyboard with it's own soul. The organ is excellent in combination of Neo Ventilator Leslie emulator. Bang for the money i exellent if you buy a used Casio like I did.
Wow. (not a comment on the playing) but man that organ sounds like shit. The Leslie Sim is awful.... there is NO power in the high register on the organ patches, it doesn't sound anything like a hammond (which is what organs are measured by. At least it is cheap...

Can the faders be applied to Pipe Organ sounds ??
nao colocou o som do pipe organ aff
I'm referring to dedicated organ chorus C1/C2/C3, not global chorus.

David Bradley don’t beg. It’s not becoming of a lady. Or an organ player.
que demo horroroso, desculpem-me, mas podiam ter gravado com um cara que sabe tocar órgão
It will sound better if u hook a strymon lex leslie speaker to it
