  • Rule number 1 for cruising is don’t be late for the ship! One person was very lucky that the ship waited for them! I also check out La Coruña, Spain and had a not so great experience at dinner. Enjoy!

Ben it would be awesome if you started to upload videos in higher quality 1080p or 1440p :)

Right, Richard 😂 dinner time can be anytime of the buffet is open! It’s worth doing a cruise just for the food!

Nice video of place and ship. They were beautiful. I never seen Spain. I came to England in 2003 and stay with friends for three weeks. They were from tall ship, Tenacious at Caribbean.😊

The food looks yummy in all your videos. I guess if you walk SO much each day you can eat 2 dinners per night 😬.

This is why its always important to get the port agents number and ship number as well any delays etc can let the ship know asap.

As for the pier runner at least he was running and its not the worst one ive seen. Sometimes the is a bit of leeway but leaving late for a cruise line can be very very expensive for the cruise line

Hey Ben, it looks like your Getaway vlog have been hidden. Thanks for reposting this one. Are you going to repost the others? I'm going to many of the same ports later this year and wanted to catch some of the sites you explored in those ports.

Thanks, Kevin! Yes all of the Getaway vlogs will be posted here so look out for the rest. All of the posts I visited on this cruise were really fun, I definitely didn’t have the best weather for it but very nice places! Which ship are you sailing on? Thanks for watching! 👍

@@TravelWithBen121 I'll be on the NCL Encore leaving Miami in November going to London with stops in Ponta Delgada, Lisbon, Vigo, Le Harve (Paris) and South Hampton (London). I'll be Sapphire on this cruise so have cruised a lot but never solo. Very excited for the entire trip.

Great, Kevin! So you’re doing the same cruise as me but in reverse. Plus I went to NYC and you’ll be in Miami. Enjoy your cruise!

Hi Ben, have to ask if you tried the Meatball Soup? I have never heard of that before but it looked interesting.
There is definitely something about visiting smaller cities as they usually have a very different vibe than a large city. The people are usually very friendly, so it is good to visit both to see which one fits your lifestyle the best.
Glad the person running for the ship at 05:32 made it. Can't imagine the feeling if you are running to catch the ship and you see it slowly pulling away. The person may have had a very good reason for being late.
How is the hot water supply in your cabin for showers? They must have a special system to heat the water with that much demand for it daily.
Hope the weather improves as you travel south on your cruise.

Thanks, Ben! I didn’t try the meatball soup but it sounds delicious! Smaller cities are great, I need to visit more smaller cities around Europe because I’ve been to the major cities many times! Hot water was never a problem in the cabins, the boiler room must be huge! Thanks for watching! 🙏

How far did you walk? I would be nervous walking that far away from the ship. What time of year was this cruise because it looks like everyday was cold and dreary.

    • @TravelWithBen121
      @TravelWithBen121  6 месяцев назад

I walked a few miles, Melanie! But I would never go too far away because it’s not worth risking it. This cruise was in October, weather wasn’t great! 😊
