Little tip places like le Havre. Book excursions through the cruise line that way if something goes wrong with excursions to paris or anywhere then they will wait for you as official cruise line excursion

They’re too expensive and not very excited 😂 thanks for the tip!

@TravelWithBen121 depends on the port and location. Some I book through companies on land and lot cheaper , others I explore on my own. Somewhere like le Havre though I definitely just go through the cruise line even if its a explore Paris on your own.
Also of note with NCL if you go for the free at sea upgrade when you book you can get excursions included.

Hi Ben, thanks for this video of the highlights of Le Havre France. Really enjoyed the first church that you entered and the music you were playing was very fitting.
The food and desserts on the ship look so amazing. They always say that is one of the benefits of a cruise.

Cheers, Ben! That church with the tall chimney was beautiful! Oh the food on ships is amazing, you could literally eat all day long if you want to!

I love the bit where he says Normandy and WW2 and he's not really interested in that. 😂 The reason he is free to travel is because of Normandy, WW2 and many other battles. But no one cares anymore. 😢

Not being interested is not the same as not caring.

@@TravelWithBen121you are not required to bring your mood DOWN by visiting something terribly heartbreaking while you are on your vacation.
There is a time and place to visit places like that.
If I visited a place like that I'd spend the next few weeks spiraling with the horror of it constantly coming to mind and ruining every bit of joy I tried to find.
Even if it's not as bad for you - just ruining your day is enough to avoid it.
