This is an great cover! The best I have seen, I started learning this song a few days ago. You play some things a little differently than what is written in the book, but as far as I can tell its mostly all the same notes just in different positions. You would never be able to tell if it were a live setting. Thanks for all your hard work man, this helped me alot!

Hi Owen, i don't remember exactly but it was Boss Metal Zone into Fender amp with 4x12 Marshall. If you like that tone, you will probably like my new gear for Metallica, let's have a look to the channel. Now my crunch rhythm tone is made with Revv G3, really an awesome distortion pedal.
No that was hammet. There's a video from the recording seasons of Bob rock giving him shit, pushing him to play the best he can. That's what came from it. He actually writes allot of good riffs, just needs to practice more.
As said in the comment, Kirk played and composed this wonderful solo (with help from Bob Rock and Lars as you can see in the video "A Year and a Half in the Life of Metallica" ) James Hetfield plays solo on Nothing Else Matters, the middle section of Master of Puppets, also the solo in the middle section of Orion, as written in the booklet)
