You’re very welcome! Yeah, I had to go back and forth with the rulebook, watching videos/plays, and BGG before locking it all in. Glad it helped you out!
I've been playing w/ my son a modified version where if one can't place a die, instead of taking dmg (loosing rings), one takes automatically a clock. And also, instead of 7 clocks = game over: we do 3 clocks per player = 1 lost live. Lastly, if 1 player dies, the rest can continue (ala D&D). After a zone is completed, lives are restored
@@Justiceinall Yes, it is in the Rulebook of “Sonic Roll”, just read the page that covered “dice”/”dies”. Only Blue can’t be re-rolled after they were already rolled and given the result. If you want to re-roll the blue ones, grab the new one from your dice pool instead.
@@Justiceinall Not in the Rulebook, but you should check on the CHARACTER CARDS - they mentioned that the Blue Dies can't be re-rolled if already rolled. If you want to "re-roll" them, get the new ones after dismiss the old and rolled ones.
If a player has a badnick that gives dmg and takes dmg from the say die number (let's say 3): Does he still "take damage first?" or is he able to kill him before taking dmg?
I think it depends on the color of the die. I'd say the badnick probably attacks on Blue 3, is defeated on a Red 3, and is avoided on a Yellow 3. I don't think there's one that both attacks AND is avoided on the same color (I could be wrong, I got to check), but I would think defeating the enemy comes before taking damage. At least that's how I would play it.
Thanks!!! needed to learn so I could play, and the instructions with the box were kinda complicated to understand.

I like that variation, makes taking the time tokens less stressful.
At "Perils of Re-rolling", while that is true, but you should be reminded that Blue Dies can't be re-rolled.
Good to know! Actually don’t think I saw that rule, or at least it didn’t register in my brain. Thank you!
@@homegamerdad No problem.
And thank you for this guide. I learned a lot from you when I need to understand some details the rulebook didn't covered.
Blue dice can't be re-rolled? Where is that in the rules?
