It was a slight step back for me. 2024 MYP. Still better than 12.4, but steering wheel has some jerk and just not as smooth as 12.5 which was truly amazing IMO.
Here's how you improve your FSD: 1. Only post bullish no-intervention drives. 2. Grow the channel until huge hype following. 3. Then, Tesla will bespoke edit your routes!
The camera is focused on interior display, and as a result the image of the road is blurry. I think to fix it, two separate cameras are needed. One for the interior display and one for the road. And then composite the videos, picture-in-picture style, to show both.
Try to focus camera a bit furter, like at the front of the car. Then the depth of field should cover both the screen and road ahead a bit better. You want to have it as far as possible but with screen still readable. Smaller aperture would help as well, but this would depend on the camera capabilities and outside conditions, so might be impossible.
Whole Mars and Elon should watch that. They are in their FSD dream world. This is the real world.
For sure, but at the same time I do think FSD has come a long way and 12.5 was preforming way better for me
It is not a dream, it is actually happening whatever you say anything
@@chriswong9690 well, my experience is more like Nick's, than Whole Mars and i am also on 12.5.1 and I had 12.5 for about a week.
@@chriswong9690 Can’t wait to see unsupervised FSD but for now it still needs some improvement
@@1pros1t Did 12.5 preform better for you?
Maybe you should try one of the other modes, rather than assertive?
@@rharcus Really good point! I’ll try this on my next drive! Thank you!
Others are also reporting a bit of worse performance in this release that in the 12.5.
Ah interesting 🤔

Yep definitely seeing the same over here😔
Some good stuff!
Missing 12.5😔 felt like it preformed even better!
@@NicksApps agreed, hoping they buff this out
every major release should come with a trial so people can see how it is before purchasing
Definitely agree!
did you try re-calibrate the camera and see if it helps?
I have not, I might give this a shot! Ty
Can you try to do some testing of the driver monitoring system? I'm curious how long it lets you look away or at your phone before it nags.
@@InigoMontoyaFA Ya I can look into doing some testing, great idea!

Hahaha I guess I’ll never grow, since I’m not gonna stop posting interventions!
@@NicksApps Which is what people should do until FSD is totally safe. Thanks!
@@conflictionated387 Agreed!
It could be the light placement. They seem very high.
Ya that’s true! Good point!
your car is shaking hard
@@commonsense4you ya it is!
You should not be allowed to test this on city streets
@@spadesman_the_first3296 why’s that?
Yeah that's horrible. I installed it today, tried it on the highway and it was trying to take the wrong exit.
Currently highway is still running on version 11 in an upcoming update we should see v12 for highway!
Sorry, but the whole video is blurry. What is this? Make you can try harder next time?
@@commonsense4you I will definitely try harder Ty

@@wcoenen I was thinking about doing this, is this something that you would like to see?
Use a smaller aperture (Bigger number)
