    its a shame this only has 145 views. the phrasing is touching, emotional and full of inflection. I actually sat down and learned this whole thing and had a great time doing it. kudos to you bro, if this is really an improv, it sounds amazing.

      Thanks so much for your comment Seamus. I really appreciate the kind words! I'm so pleased you enjoyed learning the solo and hope you got something from it! It was indeed an improvisation, I usually have a few plays over the progression just to get an idea of how I want to structure it and to see if any motif's catch my ear. But the final take is an improvisation based loosely on that. Thanks again, Greg

    Sounds great! Would you have a tab for this? Or do you have any nice tab for G minor blues scale?

      Thanks so much. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Yeah the Laney is such a great sounding amp, so responsive to touch and takes pedals really well!

      @@GregShute Yeah, I know that amp, it's really good man, I like it a lot too...anyway the biggest compliments go to you, the amp only manages to enhance the nuances you play👍✌✌

    Great stuff.I like G .i play a electro acoustic , so reaching the G on 15th fret is not too bad.

    hello nice playing..!...where can i find the backing to jam?

    • @GregShute
      @GregShute  Год назад +2

      Thank you! The backing was a chord progression I played into my loop pedal. The progression is Gm7 - Cm7 - Gm7 - D7 - Gm7 - Ebmaj9 - Gm7 - Cm7 - Gm7 - D7#9 - D7b9. Hope that helps!
