- I came across some funky and weird stamps that say "TRUE" and an unreadable stamp on these $100 bills!

And just to “strange things up”, I have an Australian $100 note that has exactly the same “True” stamp on it.
Thank you. Very informative. I just went through 18k worth of 100 dollar bills. Out of 2k, I found a star note, a lot of stamped notes with very unique characters, and really interesting serial numbers. I have to double check for broken ladders. Had no clue what that was at first. This is my very first $100 bill search. Thanks!!

What do you do with the stamp notes. I found one on a 50 and CH over the series on a few 100 dollar bills

I found a 20 that caught my eye with a stamp but also noticed a few other interesting anomalies. A squared cut and a foreign object that is causing the bill to be literally at an uneven and fixed position. I would like to know your opinion.

These stamps are used by many international traders to keep track of if a bill is real or not
Outside US , illegal exchange dollar usually get stamped by people who buy and sell it on streets , if you have small face dollars (90s), they pay you a % less
I have a $100 bill with 2 stamps: A butterfly on the right side of the obverse and the word "spot" stamped on the left.
butterfly bottom left obverse, and an eye on mine. Stamp quality so good I checked to see if it was printed on the bill. Not sure what to do, $100 is a lot of money...

I found a $100 bill with a little red stamp
R E A , and another $100 bill with GV and some other little tiny writing under it in blue how much are these worth.
I have a 2009 $100 with the same size round stamp, but on the right side, with a lions face & it looks like tiny initials LPM in it, & there is a thin line coming out of it, going into the cloud it is placed on.
Are these worth anything, & if so, where do you sell them?
I do have $100 bill where the corner is ripped off the back but not the front like the paper was split maybe when it was cut in production It Tour is that worth anything

I have possibly stamped 100 bill on the front in the ghost area "GB2". Looking at it through a loop is has the blue tint color the same as the blue around the ghost area that says usa 100.
It's intriguing to say the least. Not sure if it's worth anything. Oh and the color of the GB2 is same as the grey printing.

I just got a few hundreds with stamps on them from selling some stuff. After searching and trying to find an answer, all I could find that was even close was this video.
What is the purpose of the stamps? Is it just a way for different organizations to track their money? The only thing I could find other than this video was a brief mention that they are used by law enforcement to track bills. That doesn't really make much sense to me either.
I'm confused as to how it would make sense for anyone to stamp them.

I have found an odd stamp on back of 100 dollar bill almost like the one that one that says true
Hi, I have a twenty that has a tiny stamp on the reverse side, far right side in the center between the upper two and lower two. It is a tiny fly surrounded by five stars. It could be a bee but the wing shapes look like a fly. It really looks like it is the same ink/sheen as the bill. I even put a dot of water on it and gave it a good rub but it stayed crisp. Have you ever seen this before? I would send a picture but I'm not sure how to do that. PS Please reconsider the background music, I almost had to stop watching because it was so annoying. It sounded like a cell phone dinging or one of those "bells" that constantly ding in a department store. : ) Anyway, I am curious to hear what you think.

I have a pink “lux”stamp on the front of the 100 bill and on the back I have a capital “H” and “M” in blue coloring on the back. What does that mean? And is it a rarity? And also a weird symbol with a circle around it also on the back

Jeff, the bills are all circulated so gloves aren't super necessary. If they were graded notes or pristine condition I would wear gloves.

I found a 20 with a stamp over the face reviling another face?
Anyone have any idea what the black stamped and underlined wording above the ink well means? It is vertically printed and it almost starts at dead center, but a bit more to the right than the left? Printing shows as follows:
