In this Tiktok era, a lot of people your age are understandable to be overwhelmed by that album. Adele, aside from sharing her personal life thru her songs, is also bringing back the essence of true music from the past with her past influences, which young people won't genuinely appreciate because they are kind of expecting synthetic sounds from the current trends.
@@chadbwilliams Yes. I could see that you are open to both modern and old school type of music the way you reacted to Adele's songs. I was actually referring to your friend there. It's kind of obvious how uninterested she was. I thought you might want to give her a pillow already and tell her to go to bed and sleep. 😁 Kidding aside though, I felt like she's smart when it comes to some particular type of music.
Adele songs need life experience, you can deeply relate to the meaning. Im not saying you are not enjoying it but trust me it really need personal experience
I'd also say that secondary experience can be enough. It's really interesting to see different people's perspectives on what they prioritize like the blend between songs that's a production choice but some people prefer breaks between songs because you need to take time to feel the song that you just listened to and others want to go into it all the time.
Adele knew Amy Winehouse...they went to the same music school together and were good friends. They actually came up at the same time...both were popular in the UK in the late 2000's, before Adele broke into the American market. Adele was already well known in the UK before America. Adele is a throwback to the great iconic music of the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's...when music was actually music. She has real Raw talent. She brings back Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Etta James vibes.
I think they did know each other through the business but they didn't attend the music school (Brit school) together, Amy was 5 years older than Adele so it was at different times
It usually takes multiple spins until I judge a CD.30 was no different. I'm absolutely stunned with how different it is from her other releases. That being said I must say it's a masterpiece with amazing vocals and song writing and a brilliant production 👏.
This album really is very special. It is a masterpiece. I know the word gets thrown around a lot. But this album truly is telling a real story of real struggle and it didn't get boring at all. About your reaction,I think y'all need a little more time to understand these heavy topics. Each song can't have just high notes or be bops or be catchy. The album was not made to have standalone singles. It was made to convey a journey. Even Adele has said in her interview that she doesn't want teenagers who are 15,18 to hear this album as the subject matter is extremely heavy. But y'all did your best. Honestly for me this album has no skips at all. Every song is so good. My top 3 are: LIAG, EOM , IDW . This album is about personal experiences and rn u might not have that much of the experiences( honestly I don't want you to have some bad experiences ever ) Hopefully in the future when u hear it ,y'all will understand why this album is very special.
it is very special. this album was amazing. the closest experience we both have to this is being in a broken family. our parents got a divorce a few years ago and i was thinking about it a lot when listening to this album! thanks for watching!
The first song reminds me of 1930's music. Go Easy on Me is one of the most amazing songs EVER written. What a voice! What a vocal range! Amazing. My little Love is about her son. Pretty.
Love Adele yesterday, today and the singer song writer she'll transform to be... 19...21..25..30.. Amazing journey... As Oprah said I wish that she does good music from a happy space...
I fully respect your opinions but I feel like you didn’t really allow yourself to be immersed in the experience. Understandable since the album is quite jarring on the first listen but I’m willing to bet it will grow tremendously on you.
we do appreciate it. we still get hate from this video because we were tired, but we really wanted to listen to it. we have been through a similar situation. you don’t know everyone’s backstory, so don’t judge a book by its cover, have a great day :)
I don't understand how the young man can react while talking nonstop,,and constantly looking at the camera,,, just simply listen and react,,when you constantly talk it feels like you already listened to the album already....just sayin.
No need to be hateful in the comments. If you don’t like the video, don’t watch it. Don’t waste your time writing hateful messages. This is how I react on my channel.
@@chadbwilliams I think ur comment to this erson is more rude the his comment. From what I got from this video so far is that you're just judging the videos from what they sound like it's like you're not even trying to listen to what she's saying. She's speaking from her heart the songs are about her son and about her son's father that she just divorced from. And now the new man in her life. And don't be rude to people who give you criticism in your comment section. The criticism is what makes you a better person and a better RUclipsr it's the way you react that shows how you truly are.
I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT ALIYAH JOINED ME FOR THIS ONE! SUCH A GOOD ALBUM🤩
Yes. Ask Aliyah to join you to do reaction videos some times.

I am not really on tiktok in general and we both appreciate older music and love her new album

@@itsmeryandave Haha yea we were both tired 🥱 Yes, we both love music and most of the songs she downloads are from a few decades ago

Yes. It is all really personal preference and I do think that it is enough with secondary experience! Thank you for watching!
@@chadbwilliams Thank you for responding to my comment! Really loved both you and your sister's thoughts on the album. A great listen :)
To Be Loved is amazing. That’s my favorite too. My second favorite is “Oh My God.”
Oh yes! Literally our favorite. I really love Oh My God, but I wouldn’t say it’s in my top 3 maybe top 5!
I hope you both come back and listen to this in your 30’s. It will be a completely different understanding. But I loved the original reaction.

@@casslynn1165 Oh that makes sense. Thank you for clarifying.
You guys should look for Adele’s live performance of Make You Feel My Love where she dedicated it to Amy since she knew Amy loved that song.

Adele did write to be loved what are you talking about😭
The first song reminds me of 1930's music.
Go Easy on Me is one of the most amazing songs EVER written. What a voice! What a vocal range! Amazing.
My little Love is about her son. Pretty.
You two are adorable. Sis, you're gorgeous and obviously have a gift of your own. Go get your dreams!
Aw thank you so much!!
The background on "My Little Love" reminds me of a Mary and Leon Russell song. ( from the 70's)
The song about James Corden almost makes me cry when I hear it.
I drink wine.
SAME
transitions are not everything :)
ig that’s true. it just is cool when an artist does it. only an opinion.

Yeah her journey is amazing and how far she has come in her music and in life! I love her!

REACT TO KATELYN TARVER ALBUM 'SUBJECT TO CHANGE' PLEASE
No me gusta que digan que es la primera vez que lo escuchan, si ya saben las letras cuando cantan junto a la canción😒
pretty sure we said the lyrics were in front of us.
Thanks!
I’m sorry but you young gen truly don’t appreciate real authentic music from the heart. It’s not about the high notes, the bops smh
