A tip for early-mid game players. Maybe I'm the only one who noticed this quite late, but you can also start an autofight with 0 autofight chances, but only 1 at a time. Then at least you don't have to play the level again yourself.
One of my veteran tips is to only take a piece of gear to level 8. If it gets crappy substat rolls, sell it! If it rolls into the purple or gold range on both, there's a very high chance the next 2 substats will roll pretty good too. You can save a lot of gold by doing this!
I actually have had the exact opposite experience. When the first 2 or 3 are low the last 2 are purple or gold. Got some of my best gear by leveling up items that others told me to sell.
I would actually say dont buy any insignias at the dwarven shop. If you look at how much gold it costs to buy that, you realize that gold is more valuable than insignias. 1 gold run will net you about 30k, whereas 1 insignia run can net you 10 insignias of each rarity. More energy efficient to not waste your gold on those.
My question about gear is what are the little icons on the gear piece? The thumbs up, the up curved arrow? Nothing I have seen explains those, unless I missed it.
The thumbs up comes on pieces of gear that drop that have substats (3/4) that support whatever the gear description is so for instance if its a whirlwind piece and you get 3 substats (att spd, att, att percent) that you would want on that gear it should have a thumbs up on the other hand if it has def/hp/def % it won't have the thumbs up but a lifeforce with those substats probably would. Unfortunately the "thumbs up" hasn't helped my pieces have better rolls than average but it does help identify pieces that having matching substats to what the piece is supposed to do.

My advice is quit watching RUclipsrs they create unreal expectations of what your account should be these guys just sit and feed cash into the game all day long

When you clear a stage go back and see if you can do it faster with the 30% in release so your farming runs are faster.

At what point do you start getting red gear in the shop ?
I started seeing red gear in the shop when I was able to start farming red gear from gear raids.
I believe you need to clear stage 13 for GRs 1, 2, and 3. Not sure if you need 3 stars but doesn't hurt.
I can farm red gear, but haven't cleared 13 in all 3, so I'm assuming that is probably the right answer. Thanks for your input, guys.
